Hello everyone!! I'm Mark and I've just joined Good Reads. Looking forward to some interesting discussions with fellow like minded people who love to create captivating and thought provoking stories as well to read - always looking for recommendations. 🦁
Hi, I'm new to this site (and this group, of course). How do I get started into rp? I'm interested in it, but I don't really know what should I do to start :b.
Hey Gabriel! RP is easy to start! Basically, you write in the Requests thread what kind of RP/plot you're interested in; romance, action, western, historical fiction, etc. Obviously you can be more specific and just let people know if you have any requirements, like someone 18+ or someone who writes at least a paragraph or more.
Then like once someone replies or messages you saying they are interested, you guys can discuss the plot more thoroughly. Then you can make a thread in the group, make characters, go from there!!
Is there any idea you had in mind at all? Possibly I can help you out some and we can try one out together if we have similar ideas for what we'd like!

Hi guys! I thin romance/science fiction maybe? I don't know, I'll think about it later. But thanks for letting me know how does one get started, I'll go take a look once I know what I'mm looking for. By the way, is there a way to just get notified when people reply to one of my comments, or threads I've taken part in? Because so far I've been notified of every roleplaying update :b.
Hmm I think you need to go to the group settings and change to no notifications and then you can manually choose what threads you'd like to be notified about when you go to that thread and scroll to the bottom. That's for the computer/desktop version.
But yeah, let us know if you have anything you'd like to try out! I'm at work now but later I can reply if you have anything you want to try with someone.

No problem, Gabriel! Just don't comment on other RPs. You have to start a new one with someone :) Let me know if you ever have any other questions and I'll do what I can to help you out.
Just a heads up to anyone I might be currently roleplaying with: No I have not abandoned the rps, I had a really busy day yesterday and today as well and I'm now very exhausted. I will be responding to everyone tomorrow. Sorry for that! I hope y'all can understand and bear with me ^^;
