Lasar (lasarmoon) This book is pretty popular where I live. I've seen it in my school libraries, my local library, book stores, and all that jazz. It makes me really want to read it.

Cyn Oooh yes! This was a fun series to read growing up, and then to revisit as an adult! For rereading it, I actually listened to the audiobooks and they were (most of them) read by Tim Curry which I thought was marvelous. There was also a movie starring Jim Carrey (which I recommend you skip) and a TV series on Netflix starring Neil Patrick Harris that, imo, was really good (even though they changed some stuff).

A Series of Unfortunate Events is about 3 orphans that are trying to figure out why their parents were killed in a fire and the secrets of the secret organization they were apart of, all the while being chase by the evil (and funny) Count Olaf. The books do get a bit repetitive, especially for the first few books (the whole series is 13 short books), and it becomes a bit frustrating (what with the children in these horrible situations), but trust me when I say that it is worth it.

It sounds interesting. Hmmm, maybe I will try to find it.

Oh no no no no no. I've read the first book and stopped after that. I have nothing against people who like this series, but I personally hate it. Too much gloom and doom. I watched the Netflix series with my brother (he read all of them and liked them well enough) and hated that even more. Sorry to say they are just not my cup of tea. Even though a rarely ever drink tea. Especially not while reading books.

We will see what I think about it.

Yep! I hope you do for your sake, because if you don't, the first book will be a pain to get through.

That happens all the time for me.
