Seems like a great mop-up category for anyone with a few books on the go :D Not one I'd intentionally call in the second last week of this challenge - but its the randomiser that picks, not me ;)

Eugenia (eugereviews) | 2084 comments Ha! 59F would be a warm summer day in my neck of the woods!!!

message 253: by Jane (PS), Moderator (last edited May 11, 2018 03:44PM) (new)

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments My last few days have all been hot for this time of year with a humid 87F, so the change overnight was a bit extreme for us thin-skinned folk ;)

message 254: by Eugenia (new)

Eugenia (eugereviews) | 2084 comments I would kill for 87!! I’m not thick skinned at all & freeze my butt off year round!

My converter tells me that is 59 F when I ventured onto the deck. And let me tell you, I was rugged up with jumpers and scarfs :D"

Wow, that's actually colder than I was expecting you to say, especially since it's currently 59 F here and I'm wearing sweats and a hoodie! You took away my fun...I was going to give you a hard time for being a cold wimp (while freely admitting to being a heat wimp myself)!

message 256: by MountainKat, Moderator (new)

MountainKat | 31593 comments Wow, everyone is having a cold snap. We got up to 56 today, but it is 47 and foggy now! We were in the 80s two days ago as well.

message 257: by ~KarenH~, Moderator (new)

~KarenH~ | 11331 comments We're supposed to be back up around 80 by Sunday, but this time of year anything from 50 to 80 could be considered more or less normal, or at least not super abnormal. We almost always have some 80s in May, but often some cold, rainy weather too. Most of the month generally lands somewhere in between...

message 258: by ⚣Michaelle⚣ (new)

⚣Michaelle⚣ (michaelle) | 1187 comments Low 90s here today...if not for the wind it probably would have been a bit hotter.

But, yeah, it's a dry heat...like that matters when it's this freaking hot already. *sigh*

message 259: by Eugenia (new)

Eugenia (eugereviews) | 2084 comments It’s 53 here. I’m wearing shorts. 😂😂😂 I swear we need to move somewhere warmer like Colorado.

I'd love that...lots of nice, cooler-ish places during the summer and still some not-frozen places for winter.

message 261: by Shelby (new)

Shelby (stang_lee) | 1970 comments We're a chilly 61 here. Which is in my mind quite on the colder side. But then again it was 80 yesterday. Clouds rolled in today for a change and I've been loving it. :)

Hahaha - yes, we get a bit more extreme than you'd think. But I generally wear long-sleeve t-shirts over other t-shirts even on summer mornings, so I do like my warmth :D

We've warmed up to 68F here, and I'm still fully rugged up ;)

Man I miss the Pacific NW. I'm going to have to try to make it home sometime this summer.
