Aliandra jumped slightly whenever she heard Evans voice. She looked around where she thought he was and squinted in the dark to see his frame a bit. Ali crossed her arms over her chest and glared at his shadow. "Sorry for what? Trying to rape me and sexually harassing me? Or sorry that you ran off before you took advantage of me." She bit back a little more than usual.

~
"Well jeez. I didn't realize it was so hard to apologize for being an asshole." Evan said dryly, but there was sincerity in his voice. He leaned over and rested his elbows on his knees, looking at his feet. He needed to apologize, no matter how muck he hated it.

Aliandra rose an eyebrow whenever he said that and she watched him, seeing what he would do next. For the first, Ali hesitantly walked forward and climber the bleachers till she was two below him. "If you're so sorry then why did you plan all this. Plan to do what you almost did in the locker room." She questioned him. "I mean, Perky, Bitchy, the pranks, the harassment and the pictures? You ruined my life Evan. I don't even understand why or what I've done to you." Ali said as she got angry.

~
"Nothing. None of us ever do anything to deserve the beatings we get." Evan through his hands in the air. "Why else do you think they teach us that life isn't fair? Because you didn't deserve it." He sighed, exasperated. Why even bother being nice? Ali wasn't ever going to like him back anyways. But Ali deserved a proper apology.

Grey shook his head and shrugged as he looked up at her. "I wish you would forgive me.. I was just trying to protect you in my twisted way. I'm sorry.." He apologized to her. "I wish I could've changed what and how I did to you. If I had known even how you felt about me, I think that would have eased it but I was scared. Scared of losing you." Guy told her with all sincerity as he stood up and gently tried to take her hands.

~
Violet jerked her hands away. "Don't touch me. Don't come near me. If you want to protect me, then stay the hell away from me. You are the biggest danger in my life right now so stay away!" Violet was crying then. Crying because she hated Grey so much. For being the biggest asshole in her life, for tormenting her for three years, for actually making her feel sorry for him.

Grey felt his stomach drop whenever she jerked away from him. He felt his world crumble and he his hands curled under into fists, eyes narrowed. Guy tried to keep his mouth shut as his jaw trembled. "Fine. I'll let you out or of the doors since it's locked." He growled and pushed past her, heading out of the art room door with the lantern. He left her in the dark if she didn't quickly follow beside him as he walked. 'I tried.. She won't take me.. Forgive me. What do I do...? I feel so guilty.' Grey thought to himself

~
"It's not an excuse, it's a reason. No matter what comes out of my mouth you aren't going to forgive me. I'm not asking for forgiveness though, I'm asking you to understand." Evan replied. "You didn't bring home a win? Too bad." Evan Kicked the bleachers making a loud sound. "That was a great game! I saw you miss that touchdown throw. So sad." He hit the bleachers again. Evan kept mimicking his father and every time he hit or kicked the bleachers to make a loud sound. "I'm tired of not having control over my life and you were pretty and nice and I liked you. I wanted control over one thing in my life and I'm a moron for thinking the way I went about it would make you still want to be nice to me."

Aliandra listened to him and didn't quiet understand what he was saying. She jumped every time he hit the bleachers and she gripped her arms that were crossed over her chest. Ali shook her head, she wasn't buying his act about him liking her. It want true, not after all the bullshit he had done to her. "So because you ha a reputation and wanted to impress people, you wanted to make my life a living hell so yours would be better? That's real fucking selfish Evan." She growled in anger, trying her hardest not to just walk out the door.

~
"Well what did you want me to do? I never had a half decent role model in my life! I learned from my father that if you love someone you hit them. If you want to motivate someone, you hit them harder. By the time I learned that was not what you were supposed to do, it was too late. I was already the biggest, meanest bully in school." Evan started pacing the bleachers, frustrated with himself. "So what the hell do you expect me to do Ali? Nobody can change themselves overnight. What do you want me to do?"

Aliandra's glare and angry face fell a bit whenever he said that. She didn't realize or understand what he had meAnt by him being controlled, hitting the bleacher, and all of that. Ali swallowed and looked to him as he kept asking her. She hook her head and ran a hand through her hair. "I-I don't know.. I didn't know that.. or all of this.. I just thought." Aliandra stammered, not knowing what to say and she actually felt guilty. "I'm sorry.."

~
"Don't be sorry. You shouldn't have to be. I'm the one apologizing, remember?" Evan sighed and sat down on the bleachers again. He was out of things to say. "You can go now. The combination on the bike lock is 6-1-7-9-4." He whispered. Evan didn't really want her to leave because what he had been doing earlier, no matter how twisted, was what he wanted.

Grey felt himself smile sadly whenever she apologized as he unlocked the bike lock on the door. He pulled it out and opened the door after clicking off the lantern. "I don't need your pitty." He looked back at her with masked green eyes. Heading out into the dark night he glanced to Violet and bit his lip before raising his confidence. "I'll drive you home. I owe you that much.." He muttered as he headed over to his Ford truck that lot up in dark when he unlocked it.

~
When Grey turned off the lantern, Violet jumped and latched onto the closest thing to her. Grey's arm. "S-s-sorry." She nervously choked out, but her shaking hands didn't let go of him until he walked away. She was left standing in front of the school watching Grey walk away under the moonlight. When his truck light turned on, Violet rushed across the parking lot. God she hated Grey so much, but right then he was the only thing keeping her from walking home in the dark or spending the night in the school.

Grey felt her wrap around his arm and he felt pain in his stomach but pulled away from her. He didn't bother calling for her to come because he knew she would soon give in and hurry over to the truck. He jumped in and shut his door as he cranked it, blasting the heat in the cool Autumn air. "I need you to tell me you're address or point me the directions.." Guy muttered as he backed out and pulled out of the school as he texted Evan.
'Taking Vi home. Have fun with Ali ;)'

~
Violet climbed into the truck's passenger seat and placed her books on her lap. She was scared half to death and exhausted from Grey taunting her with the dark. "Alpine street. North of Ray road." Violet answered softly. She put on her seat belt and looked straight ahead. It was a six minute drive and Violet normally took the public bus. It would feel like a lot longer after what had happened earlier. "I'll tell you how to get to my house from there."

Grey nodded his head as he slipped his phone back into his pocket and headed down the empty street. He hated the tense and awkward silence but he didn't expect much different. Guy loved her and she hated him, not blaming her in the slightest. So he leaned over and turned on the radio to the common station most people around her liked with the popular songs. "I'm sorry.." He murmured before glancing at her and her empty hand but was too afraid she would snap if he want for it again.

~
Violet was more worried that Grey wouldn't actually take her home than anything else, but when he went towards her house she sighed inwardly with relief. Violet never understood how silence could be deafening until now. When Grey turned on the radio it only made it worse and she immediately reached up and turned it off. "You've already apologized." Violet whispered back.

Aliandra cleared her throat awkwardly and liked to him. "It's fine." She said. She herself wasn't sure if she really forgives Evan or what and why Ali was being so nice to him for. She was holding hands with the asshole who ruined her life! As they walked down the hall to the nearest exit, she had another question swarming in her head she had to ask. "What were you planning to do with me tonight..?" Ali asked.

~
"I insist. You shouldn't be walking around alone this late at night." Evan replied. His blood ran cold when Ali asked a question of her own. "Are you sure you really want to know?" He wouldn't hide it from her. Evan owed Ali that much, but he was afraid she would hate him more than she already did.

Grey parked the car and turns off te engine as he waited on her to get out. He looked over at her with a confused and puzzled expression whenever Violet asked him to do that for her. "Why? I thought you hated me Violet, didn't want to be near me? Now you want me to come with you in your house?" He asked in a slightly confused tone.
((Sorry fell asleep)

~
Violet wanted to punch him. For someone who supposedly wanted to protect her, Grey was doing an awful job. "I hate the dark more than I hate you. Now would you stop being a heartbroken prick and help me?" Her voice was equal parts bitter and desperate. She wanted to just leave the car and go into the house herself, but her legs wouldn't move. "Please?" This time Violet was desperate. She just wanted to climb into bed and sleep the whole ordeal off. But she wouldn't make it there without help.

Aliandra looked at him as she waited for a reply. Her eyes widened and she stopped in her tracks whenever he said that, feeling beyond betrayed even after he explained what caused his actions to be so violent. She swallowed softly and prayed he wouldn't try to rape her if she it in the car with her. Ali had better chances in hi car than walking home across neighborhoods around here till she reached her fancy gated community. Aliandra slipped into the passenger side hesitantly and buckled up before looking out the window nervously. She still had on her gym short gym shorts and Tshirt, after being pushed in a pool multiple times, Ali shifted a lot in her seat.

~
"I'm sorry." Evan said and started the car. It was laughable. Like apologizing could make up for everything he had done. He was an awful person and deserved to be hated, but yet here Ali was, sitting in the passenger seat. He put the car into reverse and pulled out of the parking spot. "Are you cold? I can turn the heat on." Evan couldn't believe how he had basically been reduced to a bumbling idiot because a socially awkward girl was sitting in his car. To be fair he had a crush and a borderline obsession with her.

~
"It's more common than you think." Evan said, shame filling his voice. "I know, I know, I'm not helping." Evan muttered. "But at least give me credit for trying to not be an asshole to you for the first time in my life. I'm never going to make it up to you, I know, but what more can I do? Shut up and pretend that nothings happened? You and I both know that would never happen." He turned down several side streets until he reached the gated community. "I need the code if you want me to drive you up to your house." He sighed nodding to the keypad that opened the front gate.

Grey felt the emptiness and heartbreak slowly return back into his chest whenever she quickly ran out of his arms. He looked at her and figured she was overly happy about finally being in the light and comfort if her home. She wasn't scared, she wasn't crying, Violet was safe in her house. He looked down and cleared his throat before heading back up the pathway to his car. He felt tears prick the corner of his eyes a bit.

~
Once Violet was finally calmed down enough to stand, she did so and looked around. Grey was nowhere to be seen, but the front door was still open. She looked out front to see Grey heading back to his truck. Violet swallowed. "Guy?" She called out to him. Violet didn't know what she was doing, but when he paused, she had no choice but to come up with something to say. "Do you want coffee or a soda or something?"

Aliandra could hear Evan's breathing quicken and then quickly stop before he seemed tensed. She hurriedly sat back down in her seat, a huge blush on her cheeks as she mentally slapped herself for pulling a move like that. Ali bit down on her lip harshly and wriggled in her seat. "It's the four story white house.. Five houses down." She stammered before glancing over at Evan.

~
"Y-yeah." Evan replied and started driving. He pulled up next to her house and put the car in park. What should he say? What could he say? There were only a finite number of possibilities that wouldn't make her angry. And even fewer that would make her even want to see him again. Alas, Evan's tiny jock brain could not process all of these few possibilities and he was just left stuttering. "See you tomorrow I guess."

Grey ran a hand over his face, acting stressed but really he was clearing his tears away. He sighed irritably before he walked to his truck and got in. Guy took the keys from ignition and headed back down the side walk, into her house. He stood awkwardly in the hallway of the front door, not wanting to be rude and start wondering around without Violets permission. But really, he just wanted her back in his arms and to feel her lips again.

~
Violet was angry at herself when she felt slightly hurt by Grey walking away. But instead of driving away he turned off his car engine and came back into her house. She was even angrier at herself for feeling happy that he was coming back. But once he was inside she pulled her front door closed. "What did you want? Soda? Tea? Coffee? We have decaf if you don't want to be awake all night." She said quietly and slipped off her shoes. "Um... Wait in the kitchen. I have to put my books in my room." She hurried upstairs to her room. Once inside she put her books down and paused to think things over. What could she say? Should she fix her make up after crying like that? Ugh, yes. Violet quickly touched up her make up and her mind kept spinning a million mile an hour. What if the kitchen was a mess? What if her breath stunk? What if he laughed at her? Was she wearing matching underwe- Why was she thinking this? Violet suddenly sat down, feeling a bit dizzy. "Oh Vi... What have you gotten yourself into?" She whispered to herself. Violet definitely, undeniably, still had a crush on Guy Greyson. She took a minute to compose herself before leaving her room, scolding herself for all the emotional trauma she kept causing herself. Was it really possible to like someone and be afraid of them in the same breath? Violet was about to find out at she returned downstairs and went to the kitchen.

Grey rubbed his neck with a callused hand from football, hearing all of the choices she had. He really didn't care or wasn't wanting anything. Anything but Violet, but that wasn't an option anymore and he needed to get that in his head. Before he could make up his mind, she was hurrying up stairs, Guy watched her with pain and sorrow. He soon turned and went into the kitchen, it being decently neat. Seeing a coffee table there, he sat down and looked forward before putting his face in his hands. Why was Guy here? He knew Vi would forever hate him and wouldn't give him a millionth chance. But why did she let him in..

~
"What did you say you wanted?" Violet asked as she entered the kitchen. "Well I guess I haven't really given you a chance to say..." She seemed a bit frazzled. "I'm just going to make some coffee for myself if you want some." She plugged in the coffee pot and started it before walking over and sitting across from Grey. "Can I ask you a question?"

Ali heard a second door shut while she was unlocking the door, Evan soon behind her. She winced whenever he said that. "I don't see why they would lie and tease me about it if it wasn't true.." She muttered under her breath before opening the door and walking in. "My parents are out of town 24/7 so they won't care." Aliandra explained as she sat down on the couch. "C'mon. I want go know more."

~
"About what? My dad? Why I bullied you? My stupid crush slash obsession? Because it's all about what you would expect." He followed her inside and looked around at he spoke. Ali's house was so grand, his entire house could fit in the entrance, or foyer if you wanted to be fancy. Emphasis on how the yer sounded like yay. Evan diligently sat on the couch, taking his time to take in all his surroundings. He honestly didn't even know why he was there anymore. Ali hated him. Which was depressing, but if given the chance, Evan wouldn't let that stop him. Which was even more depressing.

Aliandra slipped out of her gym shoes and let her hair down, still feeling wet and goss with chlorine. SHe definitely needed a shower as soon as she could. But Ali wasn't sure if she really should try that while a guy who claims, and acts, to be obsessed with her in her house. Having been setting beside Evan, she looked at him and thought for a moment. "I'm willing to give you a chance." She said lastly. Ali wanted to take that back the minute it left her mouth but he wanted to. She wanted the old Evan back who was more sweet as shy in middle school.

~
Evan blinked. Did he hear her right? She was going to give him a chance? "Well that's a relief, but I'm not sure it's a good thing if even I am questioning your judgment." He paused. "And why the hell would you give me a chance?" Evan was more confused by what Ali was saying than ever. Maybe girls were more of a mystery than he first thought.

Aliandra looked down at the ground as I she had been shunned or punished. She ran a hand through her hair and sighed softly before turning and sitting cross legged on the couch to face him. "I know you want the second chance, for me to forgive you, and that will be hard. But I'm willing to try because you're a little traumatized by your father abuse. You're his a little broken." She said softly before hesitantly setting her hand on top of his. "I miss the old, sweet and shy Evan who wasn't a jackass." Ali said with a bit of humor to it.

~
"Ha. Ha. Ha." Evan replied sarcastically and pulled his hand away from Ali's. "I shall take you up on that offer for a second chance," He gulped. "Just don't tempt me to be a jackass again. This is hard enough as it is." He scratched his head and looked away in embarrassment. Evan would take any kind of chance from Ali in a heartbeat, but the question was, would he be able to do so without throwing her up against a wall with intentions of sex?

Aliandra felt a slight hurt whenever he pulled away from her hand but understood eventually. She didn't think he would've said that and noticed he was embarrassed about it. "You're sexually obsessed with me too.." Ali murmured aloud before shaking her head and blushing a bit. "Sorry I mean.. I'll just, go change right quick. Actually.. I think this would help retrain your wants and urges. If I take a shower and you try and keep yourself here." Aliandra thought up, of course she would lock the door either way. "You would gain my trust if you could do it." She stood up and headed up the stairs.

~
Evan's mouth fell open. She had to be fucking kidding. But Ali was completely serious as she climbed the stairs, leaving Evan alone in the room on the couch. He could hear the shower turn on in the distance and it set his nerves on edge. "God damn she's hot." He muttered to himself and lay on the couch, covering his eyes with his arm. Evan hoped she wouldn't take long because his mind immediately wandered into fantasies about climbing into the shower with Ali. "May I burn in hell." He muttered, but Evan forced himself to stay in place.

Grey felt his heart warm up a bit whenever she didn't pull away from him this time. Then he saw her face and his heart shattered No, no, no.. I didn't mean for you to start crying.. guy thought to himself. He didn't move, he couldn't not until he was sure what he wanted to do. He swallowed and stood up, crouching beside her as he looked up into his eyes. "Let me take the worry and stress off of up on that topic.." Grey whispered before he leaned up, his lips hesitating as they brushed hers. "Love me, Violet.." He murmured before kidding her deeply, putting all his love into it to show her the truth,

~
Violet's heart sped up when Grey's lips brushed hers. And then all at once he was kissing her. It felt deep and passionate, but Violet wasn't exactly an expert kisser and wasn't sure if that was what she was actually feeling. But Violet was pretty sure that Grey was a good kisser. At least she knew that much. But where did Violet expect this to go? She was hesitant at first, but then Violet kissed Grey back.

Guy felt his whole body shutter in happiness when Violet did push or pull to try and get him away from her. But if she did, he would instantly stop to earn her trust. He held her hand in his and his other hand rested on her cheek, kissing her till he was hot with passion. Grey got her to her feet and pressed her gently against the Fridge and continued to kiss her but a little more sloppily and deeply. But through it all, he made sure to be gentle and sensitive with every kiss an move he made after he rested a hand on his waist.
~
At first Violet had been scared, but now she was angry. She was angry that her mother just walked out on her, that her brother left her alone, that her father treated her like a mental condition rather than his daughter, that Grey thought he was only on his second chance. "I do give second chances Grey!" Violet exploded. She was shouting for the first time in her life it seemed. "You've been bullying me everyday since the eighth grade and everyday I would wake up and tell myself 'Maybe today will be different. Maybe today Grey won't act like he's been beaten to many times with the asshole stick!' But everyday you just got worse and worse until I ran out of chances to give you! What else do you want me to do? Pretend that the first 1,193 days didn't happen? Pretend that my life didn't spiral out of control on my fourteenth birthday when you showed the whole school an upskirt shot of my underwear?" Violet shook her head and backed away from him. She couldn't believe what she was doing. She was actually standing up to Guy Greyson.
