Dang, I almost forgot about this! I will start soon!

Vanessa (bookfairy95) (bookfairy95) | 9 comments I will not reread it this month. Maybe some other time, but the next 2 weeks will be quite stressful soooo...

I hope everyone enjoys reading though! <3

Caylynn I was so in love with this book the first time I read it so I'm excited to see how everyone else feels about it!

This book was the one of the first fanstasy books that got me into reading.

And when I read it, I thought I was weird cause I shipped Alina with the Darkling so bad!

What were your ships in Shadow and Bone??

RyanneAndHerBooks I shipped her with the Darkling too. Haha. I didn't much like the other two.

˙⋆✮ Anny ✮⋆˙ (annithebookprincess) I'm one of the few people who never shipped these two^^ I shipped her with Mal :D

Same, I didn't mind Nikolai but i found Mal bland and boring

That's so interesting, why did you like Mal?😁

˙⋆✮ Anny ✮⋆˙ (annithebookprincess) It's already been a while since I read the book, but I liked about their relationship that they knew each other so well. The Darkling was an interesting character but I never connected with him^^

Andrea | 1 comments Sorry, won't get a chance to re-read, but I really enjoyed the trilogy. Loved the introduction to the Grisha universe, to Ravka and its traditions. It was great - so easy to visualise.

I loved the mystery around the Darkling and I would have liked for Alina to redeem him...

Oh, by the way - got my mother into reading the trilogy! I bought her Shadow & Bone on a whim, because she's not really into fantasy, but she loved it, so of course I bought her the other two now and she's already picked Siege & Storm up :) I'm so happy!

Caylynn Lol Alina/Darkling is probably the most popular ship in the fandom, aside from Genya/David. I honestly only know of maybe 2 or 3 people that even tolerate Mal. And then everyone just loves Nikolai for being Nikolai, whether he's with Alina or not it doesn't matter because he's just awesome 😂

RyanneAndHerBooks I never really loved Nikolia. Maybe I was too focused on everyone getting out the way so she could be with The Darkling. Lol.

˙⋆✮ Anny ✮⋆˙ (annithebookprincess) @Caylynn oh yes I agree on Nikolai! He's precious and awsome. Initially I could see the ship Nikolai/Alina happening, but in the end I'm glad they're just friends :)

Yeah, going into Ruin and Rising, I was like okay The Darkling has to redeem himself. He has to!

How good do you think Shadow And Bone I see compared to Six of Crows?
