Today I've started a new series on my crime fiction blog, Crime Watch, looking at the first appearances of recurring crime fiction characters.

My blog has been around for four years, has more than 1,300 posts (including interviews with 80 crime writers from more than a dozen countries), and a decent regular audience. So it's pretty well-established.

I already have some great guest bloggers lined up to help with the series, but I am looking for other new voices too.
