Delete and accidentally created book and add new series

Hi,

I accidentally pressed enter before I'd finished filling out the info for a new edition of The Faerie Queene. Instead of finishing it in edit, I stupidly started another. The one that needs to be deleted is here:

It's a two-volume edition, so I'm trying to 'add new series', but it just keeps taking me back to the homepage. It looks like I'm not the only one to have had this problem:

Perhaps I mad a mistake trying to add my new two-volume books as a new edition of the pre-existing Faerie Queene entry.

Sorry if I've missed anything obvious; first time creating a book in the catalogue. Any help would be much appreciated.

Set your blank edition to be merged/deleted soon.

The other one has 443 on the cover, but your description says 444, so I'm thinking 444 is volume 2? Changed the title to reflect the two volumes -- not sure if that is kosher, but there are other 2-vol. editions included, so unless this is corrected by someone else it will work. Moved the book numbers to the edition field.

Only librarians can set up a series.

Thanks guys, I've learned a little more about this works now.

I tried to 'add additional image' for volume 2 (444), but it didn't work. Never mind; not very important really. Anyway, thanks for sorting it out.
