Famine (wolfcreed) | 234 comments What happens if there isn’t a series made for a, well, series, that has most details like publisher, author, artist, year, page #, but not the ISBN because the books don’t actually have them? Can we request a page to be made so we can add titles?

I’m talking about the Whitman picture books from the 40s & 50s, for example.

To be a series, books need not have ISBNs (or ASINs, for that matter). Books published before the 1960s can be in series.

However, they do need to have common characters, etc. It doesn't seem like the books you are talking about have that.

Famine (wolfcreed) | 234 comments One Whitman series is called Tell a Tale, featuring animals and nursery rhymes, fables, but in general Whitman published regular picture books in the vein of Cosgrove’s Serendipity.
