Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments did you draw that on an etch-a-sketch larry?

message 111: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
Kevin is full of snark today!

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I'd like to see that design on a Lite-Brite...

message 113: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments Speaking of coin designs, has anybody seen one of the new pennies? Apparently instead of getting rid of the penny, they're giving it a whole bunch of new designs. Cause the country could afford that.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I wonder if pennies are like stamps - meaning that when people buy stamps and then collect them instead of using them, it makes money for the post office.

But, no, the pennies don't represent government services in this case, so I guess it's not the same.

message 115: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments that was sort of an inner dialogue deal jacks

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Yeah, I guess it was, Kevin. I'm still wondering what the government gets out of new coin designs, though.

Yesterday I received a dollar coin as change. It was not a Sacajawea dollar.

message 118: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments who gives coin for a dollar change?

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I got a bunch of dollar coins from vending machine, too, with a very grim looking John Quincy Adams on the front.

I want my Sacajawea back!

Kevin, the refund girl at the Water World tube rental kiosk gave it to me, if you must know.

message 121: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments I would love to have a cool name like Sacajawea or Angabel, not that my name's not cool. It's just, their's are cooler (more cool?).

Theirs rock more.

But you have an umlaut in your middle name, so you win.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Yeah, you can't beat an umlaut!

message 124: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments I'm gonna have to look that up now. STOP DISTRACTING ME! >:-|

message 125: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
But don't you feel more awake now?

message 126: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments i thought an umlaut was a citrus fruit?

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Umlaut, kumquat... about the same, really.

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments So is that the key to staying awake - be grumpy?!! Because I don't like it. >:F

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I hate it when guys say "you're cute when you're mad", it's so condescending.

But, you ARE, Heidi. It's the emoticons, they're adorable...

Are those angry teeth, Heids? Is your little guy growling at us?

message 134: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments i believe it

no, the key to staying awake is being cold and in danger. doesn't help much in the office on a friday afternoon but seems to when when you are hiding from the cops under the bridge on a december night

Are you speaking from experience, Kevin?

message 136: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments no, of course not. just assuming that a situation like that would keep you alert

I'm baring my fangs ::clips two fingers down in front of mouth and hisses for sound effect::.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments So Heidi should just PRETEND she's hiding out from the cops under a bridge, in December, Kevin?

message 139: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
That'll do it, Heidi. Go find a bridge, take off your clothes and get in the water, then get out and throw something at a cop car. Be careful not to put your clothes back on or you might warm up and lose your edge.

message 140: by Kevin (new)

Kevin (ksprink) | 11469 comments wow, deju vue
