BookStarred I get it!

Plus I think to heavy to hold on to.
Maybe these get tackled in retirement years :)

If the weighty of a hefty book is too much for you, consider reading the ebook version. Then, the book is as lightweight as your device.

Works for some I am sure.
I am stubborn, haha!
I still enjoy holding a real book with all the smells that go with the Classic book!

I really think it is because I am on a computer all day and do not want to go there on my time off :)

Being retired, I will say that it is easier to read the heftys at home rather than while commuting on bus or train.

Karen | 87 comments I find, like someone else said here, that I tend to shy away from long books in my old age! If it's over 400 pages I try to get it on audio. I have to say though, I was somewhat distraught this month when I picked up Americanah for the book club and found it to be 470 pages but it has gone very quickly. Maybe I don't give myself enough credit. My biggest problem is that no matter how engrossing a book is, when I open it at night in bed, I'm asleep by the third paragraph. That makes long books difficult! I have to stay awake when I'm driving so audio it is...
