Cali nodded, gently holding his warm hand and intertwining their fingers. “It’s alright. I can understand why you wouldn’t want to tell me or anyone..” she assured softly. “And I probably should be scared but I’m not. I’m more curious than anything.” She admitted softly.
Magnus smiled when she said that as he sat next to her and said that she was fairly interested in him.
"Okay.....what do you want to know. I will try to tell you everything." He said as he allowed her to pretty much pick his brain for information.
"And i'm glad that you feel comfortable around me enough....like i said, there is a reason why i don't often get company "

Cali shifted slightly, staying near him and facing him. “Wel. I’ve got a lot of questions..” she shrugged. “You’re calm, and I don’t know. Trustworthy.. that’s why I’m comfortable around you. And that makes sense, but s lot of people suck and aren’t worth having around anyways..” She commented, looking st him. She waited a moment before asking him her first few questions. “Do you shift when you want to or is it with the moon or how does that work? And the two wolves you let me meet yesterday, are they like you and are werewolves as well?”
Magnus watched Cali as she seemed to be fairly interested in his life and how his body worked. He nodded whilè letting her sit next to him and he explained while his wounds recovering.
"Well some werewolves actually can transform during the day, but right now i havn't found the ability to fully transform." He said as he smiled towards her and holdimg one of her hands.
"So yeah for now, just during when the moon shows. And the the two wolves that you saw the other day was just regular wolves. Because i'm half wolf i was able to communicate with them, able to tell that you were harmless and safe be around as well." He said as he smiled and explained his situation to Cali.
"Well some werewolves actually can transform during the day, but right now i havn't found the ability to fully transform." He said as he smiled towards her and holdimg one of her hands.
"So yeah for now, just during when the moon shows. And the the two wolves that you saw the other day was just regular wolves. Cali nodded slightly. “So possibly later on you’ll be able to transform when you want or is it gonna always be how it is now?” She asked to make sure she understood. “And thank you for letting me meet those wolves, it was pretty cool..” Cali told him, smiling a bit. She was quiet for a moment, thinking of more questions. “Have you always been a werewolf, or is it like some books, you get bitten by one and become one as well?”
Magnus smiled but than suddenly she asked about how he became a werewolf.

Cali shrugged. “Because nobody seems to believe I’m capable of protecting myself. It’s like I’ve always gotta prove myself to everyone and even then, I’m not trusted or anything most of the time. Don thinks I’m crazy for the things I do but yet he still will not leave me alone..” she explained quietly. “Do you choose to live out in the woods alone because of the werewolf thing or is it because of people or why?” She asked quietly, figuring they could just go back and forth with their questions.
He watched Cali as she explained that no one that she could defend herself. He had guts and were able to stand up for herself but he wasn't too sure agaisnt theifs. He smiled as he was gonna change that for her sooon but than she asked about his location of living.
"I have to hunt at night and eat, you really think people are gonna be okay with a werewolf in a village? They will take me to the pole and try to burn me alive or cut my head off." He said as he told her while looking at her hands.

Cali nodded slightly. “Fair point. I just wasn’t quite sure..” she agreed softly. She looked back over at him. “Yes. I really do want to leave and I will someday. I guess I just kinda wanna make sure my parents and everything will be fine first. And figure out at least the first place I’m heading so i have some sort of plan.” She told him. “Do you ever want to leave this place and like start over in some different area?” She asked, shrugging slightly at him.
He watched Cali as she asked him a few questions based about his life and his next desicions.
"Actually, i would like to have kids and a family of my own someday." He said as Magnus was robbed of a chance of that.

Cali nodded slightly. “That’s understandable..” she said softly. “You’re pretty lucky then. I know the whole werewolf thing wasn’t your choice but you’ve gotten to see a lot more of the world because of that...” she commented, shrugging. “Maybe I should become one of you.” She mumbled to herself randomly. She glanced around before back st him.

"Well its much easier said than done." He said as he told Cali. He moved over as he brushed her hair to the side while looking into her eyes as he held her warm neck.

Cali nodded. “I know. And it’s not like I’m asking you to change me or anything.” She said quietly, looking at him when he moved her hair. “I’m not afraid of a bit of pain. But maybe being like you could be a good thing for me someday.....” she shrugged slightly. “I’d get to see the world a lot easier and I don’t know. I already don’t fit in with normal people...”
Magnus laughed a little when she said she didn't fit in with the regular people. He nodded as he stood up while still in a bit of pain as he knew that Cali needed to head back home.

She rolled her eyes when he laughed at her. She stood and followed him to the door. “I’ll come back tomorrow. Unless I’m in a lot of trouble for nearly shooting don. In which case it’ll be the day after tomorrow..” she said softly. Cali leaned up and gave him a soft sweet kiss. She pulled away after a moment. “Get some rest, it’ll help you Heal up quicker. I’ll see you.” She told him. Cali grabbed her lantern and headed outside. Cali left the clearing quietly. She quickly made her way back to the village, running slightly so she’d be out of breath and therefore seem like she’d been moving a lot over the past few hours rather than sitting and talking with Magnus.
Don and a few other young adult was in front of the village as they had a small fire going. They all saw Cali coming in while the boys whistled at her while don finished drinking his ale as he smiled and went over to her and smirked.
"Hey georgous, come sit down and have a drink with us. Maybe some guys here may even get lucky with you tonight." He said as he took a step while trying to make her sit with them.

Cali rolled her eyes at their whistling. She looked at don and sighed. “You know I don’t drink. Especially around you.” She said, moving and shoving past him. “Besides, after the stunt you pulled earlier, I don’t want to be anywhere around you.”
Don didn't take no for an answer as he looked at Cali and gripped her hand.
"You should know your place in this world Cali. Your gonna be nothing without me. You understand? NOTHING." he said as he dragged her closer to where the others were hanging around as they all laughed while Don smiled as he grabbed her wrist and held it tight.

Cali glared at them for touching her. “I’m gonna slice your hand off if you do that again.” She warned in a low voice. She ran a hand through her hair and got a drink, taking her time so she could try and figure out how to get out of this. She could always run but then what, she couldn’t go to Magnus and going home wouldn’t work either since don would just follow her. She walked back over close to the fire and sat down, crossing her ankles so the boot that had the knife in it was somewhat hidden by her other leg and was closer to her. She looked around at the others.

I’ve made it two days and half the night so far and have come back perfectly fine so I think you’re just trying to be a controlling guy.” She said, looking at him. “I don’t want to marry you. Not now. Not ever. There’s nothing you can say or do to change that don. So I guess you better find another red head or settle for a brunette to be your wife.”

Cali sighed. “One of these days, I’m gonna kill you..” she said under her breath. She couldn’t help but smile when he passed out. She set her untouched drink down and stood up. She kicked lightly at dons ribs before starting to walk away, not going to try and help him or do anything. She just wanted to go home and sleep.
Magnus woke up the next morining as his wounds healed up although there was a mark of the bullet still on his shoulders. He got up as he went over to his barn to groom the horse as he looked around. He was hoping if Cali could drop by again as he decided to get some breakfest ready if she did. He went by a pond not to far away as he jumped in the water to hunt fish bare handed.
Cali went home and barely slept, paranoid that don was gonna come for her. She got up before dawn the next morning, packing up her stuff and leaving through the woods and back to magnus’ house. She felt safer with him so that was the only place she wanted to be. She got there a bit after the sun rose so it was light out. Cali looked around for him.
Magnus just came back from the fishing as he was soaking wet with two river catfish in his hands as he saw cali. He waved while smiling and meeting with her face to face.
"Hey, i just got my moring meal." He spoke while looking over his cabin.
"Come inside, let me just get changed into something that isn't wet." He sajd as he brought her inside while placing the fish by the kitchen table as he went inisde his room.

Cali smiled at him. “Hey..” She said softly. Cali looked exhausted, dark circles under her eyes. “Okay..” she followed him inside, slipping off her cloak and hanging it up. She ran a hand through her hair, yawning, as she sat on the couch. She looked around.
Magnus got himself back in dry cloth as he got out while watching Cali's red cloak.
"You look tired. Someone keep you awake last night?" He smiled as he teased her softly. He dried himself up while looking at her as he boiled some water to make some tea.

“Yeah. With paranoia. Not fun.” Cali Mumbled. She looked over at him. “I got back there and don was really drunk. Started yelling and dragged me over with his friends..” she explained, rubbing her slightly bruised wrist. “He was abrasive for a bit, making some threats and then he passed out face down in the mud and I went home. Just paranoid that he’s gonna come after me..” Cali explained quietly, watching him.
Magnus sat down as he listened to the guy that was bothering Cali as he nodded for a second while watching her talk about last night. He smiled while he stood up and place two cups of tea for them to drink as he replied.
"Seems like you got a slight problem at hand." He spoke as he looked outside.
"Well i said i was gonna help you. So let me keep my word." He said as he gently looked at her brusied wirst and softly took her hands as he went outside. He looked at her while he smirked and he took her red cloak off and neatly folded it to the side.

He smiled as she seemed to worry that he was still a bit wounded from last night. He wasn't 100% but enough to train her. He smiled as he walked towards her and kneeled down to her boots and pulled out her dagger.
"You seemed to really life this, so i want you to use these." He said as he saw a tree about 30 feet away from them as he threw one of the dagger and landed right on it.
He handed her the second dagger as he looked at her.

Cali watched him come over to her and take her daggers. “Alright..” she said, watching how he threw it to the tree before taking the second dagger. She adjusted how she held it and tried to match what he did before throwing the dagger. She didn’t even make it to the tree, it falling harmlessly to the ground. Cali glanced at Magnus before walking and retrieving the two daggers. She came back, offering one back to him so she could watch how he did it again and hopefully mimic him.
He smiled as he walked behind her and placed his hand on her pale warm soft shoulder as he leaned his head closer to her eyes level as he whispered in her ear.
"Cali....i want you to relax. Don't think about those who mock you."
He spoke as he gently lifted his hands away from her as he took a step back and watched her.

Cali glanced at him. She bit her lip and listened to him. “Okay...” she nodded slightly. She took a breath and tried to relax before attempting to throw the knife again. She hit the tree this time but the blade bounced off, not enough force behind it fo get it to stick in the tree.
He walked over to grab the blade that fell from the wooden tree as he picked it up and walked towards back to Cali. He saw the two daggers as he knew that she was a human after all. The reason why he was able to do this was because of the wolf powers he recieved.
"You got the idea. Were almost there." He said as he threw the first blade as it hit the tree dead on.
"Cali, i know you can do this. Don't that me that strong girl i first met is now gone." He spoke while handing her the second blade again as he moved her shoulders.

Cali watched him. She listened attentively and nodded. “She’s still here. Tired but here. I’ll get this..” She assured softly, glancing at him. She held the dagger properly and let him adjust her shoulders to help her. She took a breath and threw the dagger again. She actually got it this time, getting it to stick into the tree. Cali smiled and glanced at him.
"Good job cali." He spoke as she ended up hitting the tree. He went over again as he pulled out both of the dagger while bringing it back to her.
"Okay, now try two at a time." He said as he gave her both of the dagger to hit the tree

Cali nodded. She took both daggers, adjusting her grip to hold both the daggers. It took her a moment before she threw the daggers again, sinking both blades into the tree. Cali smiled softly and went to get the daggers.
Magnus smiled and laughed as Cali dug the dagger in the tree again. He walked over to her while nodding as he held her hand that she was holding the daggers in.
"Okay, this time, i want you to try something harder." He said as he went over to the tree that they were throwing the daggers at.
"I want you to hit tree with me in front of it." He said as if she threw it wrong, it could have hit Magnus and possibly injur him.

Cali bit her lip lightly. She looked at him. “Are you sure? I don’t want to hurt you..” she said quietly, moving so she only had one dagger in each hand. She didn’t feel comfortable throwing both at once at him, not feeling like she had enough control or accuracy. “Say when you’re ready and I’ll throw them both, one after the other.” She told him, taking a breath. ‘I won’t hurt him.” She mumbled to herself.
He watched her for a second as he closed his eyes. He trusted her enough. Plus even if she did hit him, his regeneration ability would help him heal. He hoped that she didn't hit him at the same time. He smiled as he took in a deep breath.
"I'm ready Cali." He spoke while waiting for her to throw the dagger, accepting whatever result came.

Cali walked with him back to the cabin. She shrugged at the question. “Sorta, Yes. Don and like 5 other guys are seemingly all wanting me. More wanting to get into my pants but that’s normal for them..” she explained quietly.
"Maybe....but you can call me crazy for enjoying the other moments i have with you." He said as he looked at her while holding onto one of her hands.
