Cali didn’t end up falling asleep until late that night. Once she slept, she dreamed more about the forest and the wolves, her imagination running wild. She woke up early in the morning, getting dressed and ready to leave. She balled yo her cloak in her arms, thinking that if she didn’t wear it, she’d be able to slip out of the village easier. She grabbed an apple from the kitchen for breakfast and headed outside.
Don looked around for Cali and her ususal red cloak as he didn't see it today. He looked around while trying to look for her as he spotted a red hair while jogging close to her as it was Cali. He smiled while walking beside her as he got her attention.
"Hey, how come your not wearing your red cloak today? It usual makes you stand out of the crowd." He said as he looked into her eyes while smirking.
"Where did you go yesterday, i went looking for you out to the forest but all i ended up doing was bumping into some guy who lived in the middle of the woods by himself." He said while checking her out

Cali ate her apple quietly, looking around as she walked. She glanced over at don. “It’s warm and sunny out, I don’t need it.” She shrugged. “And I told you. I was gonna talk to some people around town and then I was out exploring..” she sighed at him checking her out. “Why were you out looking for me?” She questioned. Cali didn’t mention that she’d been hiding out in the house of the guy he’d found in the woods, knowing Don would flip out. ((Ooh. Yeah. That’ll cause problems)
Don smiled as he loved when Cali got upset. It made her more attractive actually. He smirked when she asked him why he went out looking for her.
"You were going out there to the forest by yourself. The woods are a dangeroua place Cali." He said as he kept on walking with her.
"You know you can just make it up to me with a kiss." He said as he crossed his arm in a confident way as he loved challenging her in anyway he could.

“Well ya know, if people would actually say what was out there, I wouldn’t have to explore and figure it out for myself.” Cali replied. She raised an eyebrow. “You know, I think I’d rather not. It’s not like I have anything I need to make up to you anyways.” She told him. She finished off her apple before speaking again. “Don’t you have stuff that you need to be doing other than following me around?” She questioned, wanting him to go away.
Don watched her as he winked while going back to his work. He wasn't finished witb her just yet. Don wanted Cali, and he was gonna find a way to get her.
Magnus finished most of his work for the day, including cleaning up the yard, cutting the woods, brushing his horse and cutting the Elk meat he gotten yesterday from the hunt.

Cali sighed as he finally left her alone. She slipped out of the village, not going anywhere near magnus’s cabin for a while as she wanted to listen and make sure she wasn’t followed. She didn’t want her friends coming there and getting mad at him for letting Cali come there or anything. Once she was sure she was alone, she headed for magnus’s cabin, easily finding her way there. She looked around for him when she reached the clearing.
Magnus was finishing up as a familiar scent came towards him as it was Cali. He soon saw a red headed girl from the woods. A soft smile made his face while looking at her as he walked towards hers.
"Cali, good seeing you again." He said as he welcomed her.
"I actually want to show you something today, but its going to be a little bit of a journey. Are you up for it?" He asked as he raised his eyebrow. A little bit further out of here and there was something that magnus wanted to show to her.

Cali smiled and came over to him. “Hi. Nice to see you too..” she said kindly. “Yeah. I’m up for it. Being further away from town always sounds good to me.” She shrugged st him. She was fed up with don right now and wanted to stay out for as long as could so she didn’t have to deal with people.
Magnus nodded as he got his horse while getting on it as he grabbed Cali's arms as he pulled her up and let her hold onto him. He rode the horse as they headed towards further than the village as they went for miles, finally getting out of the woods and more into a plain area with sunshine and cool winds. Magnus smiled as he looked at her.
"There is so much more to the world than you know." He spoke as they rode. They went on a little longer while he stopped to a cave. He got off while Helping Cali as he took her hands.
"Don't worry, it will be worth the wait." He said as he took her in there as it was a cave filled with blue water and red plants.

Cali climbed on the horse. She held him gently as they rode, looking around as they travelled. “I know. And I really want to see and explore a lot more of it than just the tiny village...” she replied softly, looking at him for a moment. Cali thanked him softly for helping her down. She followed him closely to the cave. She smiled and looked around in awe. “Whoa.. this is beautiful..” she commented softly.
Magnus nodded as he looked at Cali and her amazment of this place.
"I don't think anyone else really knows about this place." He spoke as he took his shirt off.
"I know there isn't really a lake or a ocean near your village, so i say this is your best chance of getting to swim." He spoke as he dived in the cool water as he looked at Cali with a soft grin.

Cali looked around happily, looking back to him after a moment and flushing a bit at the sight of him shirtless. “I. I don’t know how to swim..” she admitted softly, slipping off her boots and setting them near the edge of the water and his discarded shirt before sitting down close to the water and letting her feet sit in the water. She watched him quietly, biting her lip and debating actually coming into the water.
He swam as she was biting her lips and cooling her feet on the water.
"This is the shallow area. If you go over there just a little bit, than thats where you have to know." He spoke as he looked at her as she paddled her feet around.
"And i will teach you how to swim." He said as he looked around.
"Plus you aren't gonna get a chance like this often Cali." He spoke as he tried to convice her of doing something advanturous

Cali nodded slightly, listening to him. “Fair point. All good points..” she agreed softly, hesitant. She decided to come in the water, moving and pulling off the shirt she had on, having like a tank top on underneath. She moved and came into the water, taking a slight breath at the cold. She had to stand on her toes to keep her head above the water, being smaller than him.
Magnus held her hand as he helped her around water.
"You need to relax, the more you panic, the faster you drown." He said as he moved her around. He smiled as she seemed to blush softly agaisnt him while he gave a soft grin towards her.
"Here, relax and you can float." He said as he told her while looking directly into her eyes as he helped her. He didn't say anything for a bit as they floated in water for a bit. It was a while since he got a quite moment with another person like this.

Cali nodded slightly, following his instructions and trying to relax a bit as he helped her. Cali shifted slightly and started floating on her back, stretching her arms out to either side of her. She was quiet for a moment, enjoying the peaceful quiet of the place and also his company. He didn’t seem to want anything from her which made it a lot less stressful compared to being around others, like don.
He saw that she was floating as her pale skin reflected towards the blue water. He brought her over to the deeper end as he swan, constanly keeping an eye on her as he allowed her to get experince like this on her own. When first meeting her, she definatly kept her guards up and her walls high. But this was a softer side of Cali, and he seemed to enjoy this side of her a lot more. The light came in through one hole of the cave roof as he cool water gave him goosebumps. He was just afraid of showing his real form to Cali, knowing that she would reject him for the fact he was half wolf.
Cali floated contently for a bit. He tilted her head towards him when he noticed him watching her. “Thank you..” she whispered softly, moving and carefully figuring out how to tread water as she stayed near the edge of the pool in case she couldn’t keep herself afloat. She smiled s bit, content to stay there with him for however often. “Just so you know, I likely won’t be able to come see you everyday in the future. Don and some other people will likely follow me and I don’t want that to happen...”
He smiled as she told him about her situation that was going on with a few guys looking for her.
"I can always fix that." He smiled and whispered as he brought her back to the shallow are as her feet made the floor without her going underwater.
"I know, but this is why i like to savour moments like this." He spoke as he was eye to eye with her now. He held her hands to his while wonderimg if she was gonna let her guard down for him

“And Just how would you fix it?” She questioned curiously. Cali shifted and stood back on her toes in the shallow water, looking st him. “Agreed. Moments like this are the best to keep..” She whispered. Cali let him hold her hands, gently intertwining their fingers for a moment.
Magnus smiled as she started to ask how he could fix the problem. He always knew how to get cleaver.
"Leave that up to me." He spoke as he whispered in a quite voice as their hands met while he placed his forehead on her while not saying too much as his heart beat started to race a little.
"But i know you want to go on more advantures Cali, you just can't." He said as his one free hand gently made way to her neck as he pulled her in close to him

Cali bit her lip lightly when he moved closer to her but she didn’t move away either. “Yes.. I can. I could go on however many adventures that I want to.. Not you or anyone could stop me when I decide to go..” Cali told him softly, still stubbornly defiant. She stayed close to him, looking up st him.
He smiled as she still stood her grounds. He just didn't know what she had to prove to him. He held her close as she didn't see to be bothered by it too much. His wolf scent told him to stay away from humans but he wanted to be close to this one. He didn't really knkw why, he just wanted too. He smiled as he brushed the side of her slowly while looking into her eyes back.
"Than come with me...." he whispered as he leaned in to kiss her on her soft lips

Cali watched him with her blue green eyes. “Okay...” she whispered softly. She seemed slightly caught off guard but kissed him back gently, closing her eyes. She pulled away after a moment, looking at him again. “I don’t know how much of an adventure that would count as,” She Mumbled, teasing him gently.
He smiled as she teased him a little about the kiss as he shook his head.
"Well there is a lot more to my advanture than that Cali." He said as he grinned a little while lifting her chin up as their eyes met back while they were on water as he took her hand while looking back.

I want more than that tiny village and being around the same people for the rest of my life.” Cali explained, shrugging.
They came back as there was a little bit of time left before she needed to head back to the village. They got off the horse as Magnus placed the horse back to the barn while taking Cali's hand and into the cabin. He got her a towel for her to dry off as he looked around.
"I'm just gonna go get changed." He said as he went inside his room and allowed Cali to dry hersefl as well. He came out with a pair of new shirt that wasn't wet as he walked back towards her.
"Hey, i enjoyed today." He said as he told her while placing his hands on his chin as he looked at her. He was still scared to tell her that he was a werewolf.

She nodded. “Well, I don’t think I’m exactly normal either but I do like you as well...” she told him quietly. Cali smiled a bit, hesitantly kissing his cheek before pulling away from him. “I’ve gotta get back before nightfall and someone freaks out. I’ll see you sometime soon?” She asked quietly as she put her cloak back on.
Magnus felt her lips touch his cheek as he smiled while she told him that she had to leave. Suddenly Magnus felt a motion of depression come upon him. He didn't know it yet but he ended up imprinting on her. He waved her goodbye as she left and went back to her village while the full moon came up tonight as he howled and turned back into a giant grey wolf. He slowly lost conscious as his animalistic emotions caught up to him. He went out to the woods looking for Cali as his wolf form vhased her because of the imprint. He saw her not far away walking in the woods as he ran towards closer and closer to her
Cali smiled and left him, heading home. She’d ended up on the wrong path, taking the more winding and long one instead of the one she wanted but figured she’d be safe and alright either way. After all, it wasn’t completely dark yet, the sun just having set not long ago but that meant the moon was out. Cali was nearly back to the village when she heard the footsteps, growing increasingly louder as they got closer and closer to her. She noted how quick they were and grabbed her knife from her boot as she started to walk a bit faster. She listened closely, Ready to fight back but she didn’t think something would be chasing her.
Magnus finally found her as she seemed to be cautious now.

And it seemed as if she was escaping from his territory as he made his presense known. He looked at her as their eyes matched while he walked closer and closer towards her. Cali turned and saw the wolf, meeting their eyes. She bit her lip and looked them over. “I recognize you... you look like the one that protected me from that bear...” she said softly. “I’m just going home now, I don’t want to intrude on your territory..” she told the wolf even though she figured they wouldn’t understand. She kept her knife held close to her side and watched the wolf, carefully walking a bit further down the path to see what they would do.
He growled as she walked further away from him. He waited for her to stop as he came closer and closer to her until it was literally face to face with her while ataring at her. He sniffed her as it watched her and walked towards the direction that she wanted to go. As if it was leading the safe way while keeping a constant watch on her. Magnus shook his tail as he was next to Cali as that was all he wanted right now. His imprinting really made him close to her as she didn't seem to be bothered too much by him.
Cali took a sharp breath as the wolf came face to face with her again. She watched them carefully, determined not to harm them unless they harmed her first. She then relaxed and smiled a bit as they started walking and leading the way for her. “Oh. Alright. You’re gonna walk me home?” She commented softly. She walked with the wolf the rest of the way back to the village, looking at them curiously.
Magnus was smiling on the inside as he walked side by side when she was walking back to her village. He kept watching her as the 2 walked. They were pretty close to the village now as he watched her while trying to say goodbye. When suddenly he heard a gun shot as he felt a sharp pain beheind his front shoulders as the bullet caught him while he screamed in pain and ran back into the forest.
From a coupme of feet away, don had fired his rifle while he pulled down as he looked at Cali.
"Damn i missed. You okay Cali?"

Cali glanced back at the wolf when they neared the village. “Don’t Head much closer. It’s not safe..” she told the wolf, holding her hand out to them as a sort of truce when the gunshot rang out. She jerked back at the noise and then saw the blood on the wolf as they ran. She almost went after them but instead she threw herself at don, ripping the rifle from his hands and glaring st him. “What the hell don?!” She shouted. “You saw that wolf, it was harmlessly walking with me and you shot it! It did nothing to you! I was out walking and it’s been with me for hours, not doing anything, just walking with me! How could you?!” She shouted, furious. She pointed his own rifle back at him, knowing how to shoot and at the moment, she was considering shooting him.
Don was shocked when she was mad at him. He just saved her life and this was the big thank that he was gonna get. He was really mever going ro understand her. She than suddenly pointed the rifle at him as he shook his head.
"Cali, stop joking around, you and i both know you aren't gonna shoot me." He said as he decided to call her threat a bluff. He smiled as he waited for her next move.
Magnus was limping and walking at the same time as he had a hard time moving with a big wound. He evantually turned back into his human self as he had a gun shot on his shoulder while he had to get back into his cabin and fix himself up.
"Cali, stop joking around, you and i both know you aren't gonna shoot me." He said as he decided to call her threat a bluff. He smiled as he waited for her next move.

Cali rolled her eyes. “Seems Like Fair revenge to me for you harming an innocent.” She replied, lowering the gun for a moment so he’d let his guard down a bit. She went into the town, grabbing one of the lanterns hung outside of a building. “Now I’m gonna go find that wolf and help them if I can since you so cruelly hurt them.” She said as she came back, raising the rifle and aiming st his shoulder. “I suggest you don’t follow me.” She said before firing.

She looked around, trying to find the wolf.
Magnus stopped in his trail as he was bleeding a bit more than he expeçted. He heard something follow him as he hoped it wasn't any other predetor. He was very vulenrable and probably wouldn't be able to defend himself as he kept om walking. Not knowing it was Cali that was following him. He took im a deep breath as he was step at a time while holding on to the trees for extra support.
“Hey. Hey...” she said softly, trying to get his attention when she realized it was Magnus. She rushed to catch up to him. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry. Let me get you home..” she said softly, feeling horrible. The realization that Magnus was a werewolf wasn’t as important to her as getting him home safe and helping him. She looked over him worriedly, holding her hands out to prove she wasn’t a threat.
Magnus heard a voice and a light come towards him as it was Cali. He turned around as she seemed to figure out that he was a werewolf. He watched her as she didn't what he was but more cared about his safety. She helped him get up as he bled a bit on her while he saw his cabin not tok far away.
"Cali...why are you doing this?" He asked as she could have been in big trouble for helping him.

Cali moved and helped support him as they walked back to his cabin, having one arm around him and holding the lantern with her other hand. “Because he shot you without reason..... you were just trying to get me home safe and he shot you. That’s not right..” she told him softly. “So I told them that I was gonna go find you and make sure you weren’t gonna die or whatever. They can lock me up or call me crazy later..” she said quietly as they neared his cabin.
He smiled as he accepted her offer while getting back into the cabin as he sat down on a chair while Cali stayed with him. He watched her as he moved his hand and shoving his finger inside the open wound to drag out the bullet from his flesh as he dropped it on the ground. He looked at her while the wounds slowly started to repair itself.
"You don't have to worry about me too much. My healing factor is gonna help me out." He said as he looked up at Cali.
"Thank you..." he whispered as she seemed to be okay with the fact he was half wolf.

Cali bit her lip lightly as he seemed to easily fish the bullet out of the wound. “Alright. Still. I’m sorry. I’m ready to kill him.” She mumbled quietly. “Is there anything I can do?” She asked, looking at him. She shifted on her feet, not knowing what to do to help him but she felt bad. Plus, don was probably gonna run off to her parents and say what she did which would mean more trouble for her.
He looked at her as he could see the worry on her face. He smiled as he stood up while going in the cabin as he drank a whole bottle of water.

She took off her cloak, it stained with some of his blood. “Ever thought maybe I’m dangerous for you?” She commented. “So far, you’ve fought a bear and been shot when you’ve been around me..” she said softy.
