Align them in a way that encourages people to try stuff outside of their comfort zones (1 Isekai, 1 Comedy, 1 drama, 1 female lead, 1 Highschool Setting). You could throw in regular (not light) Japanese novels too and maybe SciFi as a genre for stuff like Haikasoru published books. Could be interesting.

1 - Publisher variety challenge
Read as many novels from different publishers as you can - one read per publisher. So if you read one novel from Yen On, reading another Yen On novel will not increase your challenge count but reading a novel from J-Novel Club will.
2 - Publisher loyalty challenge
Read as many novels from one publisher as you can. Pretty simple but perhaps too easy?
3 - Read and review challenge
Review as many novels as you can. Retroactive reviews are okay but all reviews should be at least a short paragraph long. All reviews should be for novels that you have read to completion.
I really like that last one, but I'm not sure retroactive reviews could be counted because of how the challenge system on Goodreads works.

Meant to reply earlier. If you'd like to send me a possible bingo card, we can try this challenge in the future. :)

The 2022 year-long challenge is for new or rereads. :) As long as it's related to the theme, it's good

Ok, got my goal then;) thanks!

Yup! Any volume within the series counts. So if we read volume 1 as a group read in the last 10 years, volumes 1 through the final volume can count toward the challenge
