Hi.I Separated these two editions of the same book (the Details link said that one of them (the edition with the ASIN in the ISBN field) had 0 Ratings/Reviews):

but when I tried to Delete that edition for the Merge I had the Requires a Super-Librarian note flash up. Not sure what I had done or read wrongly, but if a Super could Merge them I would be grateful.

The two editions also need to be combined with each other, which they were not.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... is under the wrong author name, there is another version https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... which under the actual author. the first has to be removed from the other author's page and merged with the latter, not sure how that can be done.

For some reason, there are two books on my list (noting that I am the author included in a poetry book, but I don't write poetry) that I have not written or consented to be included in. rivka, what's the policy on moving ISBNs while preparing duplicates for merges? I'm assuming the new policy about ACEs is not applicable here? Say there's a no-ISBN record added first to GR and has 100 shelvings while an auto-import added ISBN record later which now has 20 shelvings. I'm guessing it is NOT OK to move the ISBN to blank record just because it's easy to merge 20 into 100 instead of 100 into 20. Can you please confirm?

In the past it's been OK to do a "reverse merge", but it's a last resort option. If we can, it's better to still do the more-reviewed edition into the lesser-reviewed one if at all possible.
This entry has two identical paperback editions - https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... One of them has a truncated ISBN-13 in the ISBN-10 field. I've matched up the Primary Authors (Editors) on both, but can't Merge them due to Shelvings (also, Merging books is plainly not my strong suit).

I would say not the preferred option, rather than last resort, but yes.
Also, be VERY careful not to try the delete in both directions. You can end up with no remaining edition when both eventually go through.

#900 moved the 2 editions to your profile, one of which is the correct kindle edition. Merged the 2 ebooks & left the placeholder to be merged by the supers ~ it is the default edition.

re 891, the first two books linked have slightly different covers. No merge. Merged one of the blanks with the most popular Turkish edition. Merged the last with https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2..., which matched the title and had a similar cover, which could explain why it was previously combined with the wrong work.
re 893/900/901 Emily, was this never published as an ebook? Just kindle and paperback? And please don't repeat requests in the same thread, it gets confusing for us to figure out which requests have been completed.
