Journey Through Tudor EnglandHampton Court Palace and the Tower of London to Stratford-upon-Avon and Thornbury Castle
Author: Lipscomb, Suzannah
We read Winter King: Henry VII and the Dawn of Tudor England in December 2013. You've still got two nominations, Hannah.
I would like to again nominate The Perfect Prince by Ann Wroe and my second nomination is The Last Tudor by Philippa Gregory. Thank you.
OK how about Mary Boleyn - Mistress of Kings by Alison Weir. I looked at the previous books and I don't believe this has been read yet. I am hoping that one of these months a book will be picked that I haven't read yet or the group hasn't :) I am eagerly awaiting to join the discussion.
If anyone has a nomination, now is a good time to make it - I'll probably be closing nominations and opening the poll sometime tomorrow.
The nominations are closed, and the poll is open. It's on the bottom of the group's Home page, at the top of our Polls section, or here: https://www.goodreads.com/poll/show/1... .
If voting closed now (which it does not), we would be headed for a runoff between The Tudor Brandons: Mary and Charles - Henry VIII's Nearest & Dearest and A Journey Through Tudor England.
Nominations are closed now. (At any rate, we read Katherine of Aragón, The True Queen in July 2016.)
The winner, A Journey Through Tudor England, alias A Visitor's Companion to Tudor England, by Suzannah Lipscomb.

If it's in a series, can it be easily read as a stand-alone? If not, you might want to nominate the first book in the series, or the most recent book in it the group has not read together.
Can't remember what we've already read as a group? (Sometimes I can't, either.) There's a "group-reads" shelf on the group's Bookshelf.
Two nominations to a person, please.
