Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2165 comments What book about the Tudors or Tudor England would you like to have as our Group Read in March 2018?

If it's in a series, can it be easily read as a stand-alone? If not, you might want to nominate the first book in the series, or the most recent book in it the group has not read together.

Can't remember what we've already read as a group? (Sometimes I can't, either.) There's a "group-reads" shelf on the group's Bookshelf.

Two nominations to a person, please.

Christine Cazeneuve | 23 comments OK how about Mary Boleyn - Mistress of Kings by Alison Weir. I looked at the previous books and I don't believe this has been read yet. I am hoping that one of these months a book will be picked that I haven't read yet or the group hasn't :) I am eagerly awaiting to join the discussion.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2165 comments We read Mary Boleyn: The Mistress of Kings in February 2014.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2165 comments If anyone has a nomination, now is a good time to make it - I'll probably be closing nominations and opening the poll sometime tomorrow.

Christine Cazeneuve | 23 comments Oh well, thanks Susanna I'll just leave it with my one nomination :)

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2165 comments The nominations are closed, and the poll is open. It's on the bottom of the group's Home page, at the top of our Polls section, or here: https://www.goodreads.com/poll/show/1... .

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2165 comments If voting closed now (which it does not), we would be headed for a runoff between The Tudor Brandons: Mary and Charles - Henry VIII's Nearest & Dearest and A Journey Through Tudor England.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 2165 comments Nominations are closed now. (At any rate, we read Katherine of Aragón, The True Queen in July 2016.)
