lol! That's my favorite spot too. ;)I like reading on the couch, in my room, or sometimes just on the floor. I sometimes go to read outside but I don't usually stay out for long.
Mehwish wrote: "Alone ( then it can be any place )"I love reading when I am alone but I can read anywhere! For instance, my mom went to a knitting shop today and was talking with the owner and everything and I just brought my book into the back room and just read. I can read everywhere but it sometimes takes longer to read because I get distracted easily.
Reading outside is a little distracting, but I love reading in the park. When there aren't many people there, of course.

I have a wonderful park that I could go to but I just never have gone. Maybe I should! Bring a sandwich and some drinks and just have a reading picnic. ;)
Yes! I usually bring my book to most places I go because you never know when you will have some extra time to read. :)
One place I do not like to read is my bed! So many people has that as their favorite reading place but I just find it so uncomfortable!
Amanda wrote: "My favorite place to read is outside in my backyard."I like to spend some days out in my backyard reading as well! :)
I love it and here in Michigan you have to take advantage while the weather is nice and before the dreaded winter season hits.
I'm the weird one. I read in my bed, since it's the most comfortable place in my house. But I can basically read anywhere if I absolutely have to (like if I'm waiting for something) as long as I have my music to listen to.Except for outside. I live in Kansas and it's extremely windy in Kansas! GAH! It's really frustrating to try to read outside!

It depends.
Sometimes my husband and I read in bed, different books but side by side. It feels nice to be doing something together yet independently. :-)
I love reading on the train to work, especially when I'm in london, 40mins of blissful escape! When I'm home though it's the bed, makes me feel all cosy :)
Mehwish wrote:"Is arizona so hot, i have never been there!"Well, I live in Lake Havasu City and in the summer it can get up to 126 degrees!!

Mostly I read on my couch, but I love reading in my classroom or Barnes and Noble because of the lighting. I also love reading in just about any outdoor setting it the weather is nice, but 99% of the time I am on my couch.
I prefer it in the tranquility of my room. I have a couch next to my bed and it seems perfect as a reading point :)
i usually read anywhere but i prefer to be either on the couch or in my room. If i am in the car i usually like to have my headphones in so i can focus on one think.
In my room is my fav spot, but trust my older sister to always ruin the peace and come barging in :D
If it's nice enough outside I love to sit out on the porch, if not either on the couch or in bed. If it's summer, then definitely laying out on the beach.
I like to read before I go to sleep, it relaxes me so I can sleep. I also mainly read on my bed but if we go out anywhere I will generally read in the car (if I'm not driving of course. I can read anywhere and everywhere!
I like to read in my Favorite Corner of the sofa or cuddled up in a fluffy blanket on my bed. Sofa during the day and bed at night time. I Wish i had a good place outside to read during summer because i like doing that but there's no were good at home. Bus reading is also nice with my head phones in.
I mostly love to read in my room alone so that I can solely concentrate in the book but reading in the bath or by the pool is also lovely and relaxing :)
I read anywhere including: on my bed, on the comfy sofa, outside, in the car (I weirdly don't get travel sick) and even on the toilet when I can't put a book down! :)
I take my books wherever I go, so I read in a lot of places, but mainly my room
I enjoy reading in my room but also in our school library. I enjoy reading outside during the fall and winter time. And this will sound weird but i love to read outside after it has stopped snowing it just feels so peaceful.
I love reading on the train to and from work. It really adds a certain element to my reading, especially if I'm reading a dystopian novel. My all-time favorite place though would be curled up on my couch with a blanket particularly if it's raining or snowing.
In the summer, I love reading on the old wood swingset we have. Or under my Indian plum tree; it's all bushy so no one can see me, but I can see if someone is coming. :) Any other time, in my reading chair in my library - especially now that I have an ottoman. My reading chair is my favorite place. Got a nice lamp, a snuggly blanket and pillow, an endtable - yep, it's perfect. I picked out the chair and its accompanying furnishings with the idea of creating the perfect reading spot.
I'm surprised so few people have given this answer, but I read in bed before I go to sleep. With the Kindle I can have the lights off and still read with the back-light. I can also have it propped up so that I don't even have to hold it. I read until I can't keep my eyes open anymore.
Wow. I guess most people like quiet spots. My favorite is a coffee shop on a nice chair with a hot delicious drink (like a pumpkin spice latte) and some music coming through my earbuds.
