Totally agree Rob. I just finished and it is fantastic! I wish it was the start of a series because I really liked the main character.

So looking forward to reading this as I love Harlan Coben but haven't read one of his books for ages.
Exceptional! One of his best I think... absolutely loved it! Intense, heart-in-throat kind of stuff!

Have enjoyed reading everyone's reviews. I am still waiting for my ebook hold from the library. :( Probably should have gone for a good old fashioned print book! Look forward to reading it when I get it.
Oh gosh! That's not good :( I had one last year which was to be read in April, and I finally received notification in July!
Yes, I might try the print version and failing that I might end up buying it myself. Haven't read a Harlen Coben for years.
Finished this last night. Really good. I liked the main character too and he is a cop so maybe there could be a sequel. Did you like Myron Bolitar making a cameo appearance on the basketball court? So cool! Will post a review in the next day or two.
Well, I am working on reading the monthly choices from last year and this year. After reading the June 2019 selection, I chose this one. I have not read much of Harlan Coben...at least, not consistently. But when Myron Bolitar made an appearance, I was reminded I had read some of that series.
The fact is that I devoured this book. Truly enjoyed it. I love characters that are multi-dimensional. Characters that struggle with their actions and decisions feel more real to me...more like my everyday world. I would give this book 4.5*
