The whole premise of the Oasis

I just want to kickstart this discussion saying that I found the Oasis fascinating, but, at the same time a little sad. The fact that people need to hide inside a simulation is just not good, however, the number of things you can do there are amazing, and I totally get why one would like to "live" there.
