Kristaps | 6 comments Hello!
I am a new kindle user, so i have a couple of questions about the device. At this point i have one problem - when i transfer a book from my pc to kindle, it doesn't have a book cover picture in library, like the books i buy have. Instead there is gray/white portrait with the title of book on it.. is there a way to fix it and add a cover photo?
Thanks in advance.

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56524 comments Download calibre onto your PC and then transfer your books onto your kindle from there.

Calibre acts as a virtual library.

Kristaps | 6 comments of course, but how does it help? calibre is the software for changing formats, isn't it?

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56524 comments It also adds covers, blurbs, all sorts.

Have a Google.

Kristaps | 6 comments Thing is - i want to know how to do right, because i did everything as there was written, but without results..

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56524 comments Not sure how to help, if you've downloaded calibre and googled how to use it.

All the book metadata will download onto your kindle through calibre.
