The daughter of the god of medicine is quite the character. Saffron has always been the odd-one-out with a sharp tongue and a strong Korean accent. She tends to bite off more than she can chew, and in a verbal fight, she'll make meaningless threats. Saffron tries to make herself seem menacing, as she craves to have attention, but doesn't receive enough.
Saffron is extremely confident in herself, and can easily be seen around the camp sporting halter tops or extremely short shorts that compliment her sun-kissed legs. She's flirty and isn't ashamed of it. Yet, don't let these traits blind you from the healer she is. Some could say that Saffron is a far more skilled healer than a majority of the Apollo kids, and with her knowledge and memorization of Olympian herbs and medical treatments, any kid that steps into the infirmary will make it out no more than a day later.
Her father — the god of medicine and the son of Apollo — stays with her and her mother in Ansan, South Korea until Saffron is a tall five year old, with dark brown pigtails and lollipop-stained lips. After he leaves her and her mother to return to Olympus, Saffron and her mother move to America, where they begin a new life. Maybe things would've been a lot easier if Saffron could learn English or her ADHD had been diagnosed at an earlier age.
She went through ten years of constant bullying and teasing for being different, as it was evident. It was until she turned fourteen that Saffron had met a boy — "Oh, Eomma, he's amazing! And beautiful!" — and formed a massive crush on him. She thought she had a chance with him, until he assaulted her as part of a bet with his friends. To them, she was worth $100.
At fifteen, when she began high school in a medical-oriented academy, a satyr found the girl skipping school to hide in an abandoned store, tears running down her cheeks. Now, she's nineteen, and has hardly a care in the world as she spends her days healing her fellow campers.

She usually shakes her head and laughs, but she thinks it's disrespectful. Val is usually shy at first but gets comfortable quickly.
History: Growing up without a mother was tough for Val. She wanted to know what it was like to have a women's touch in her life. She took care of her father who had gotten ill. When her father died, Val was heartbroken. She moved away to her Aunts house who turned her into a house slave. Always cooking and cleaning. She felt like Cinderella. When Val's father stuff was being sent to the family members, she found a letter from her father to give to her on her 13 birthday. She read it and found out everything about herself. She sent herself to camp and well... you get the rest.

She seems to be an utter opposite of her siblings, Monica tries to see the best in everyone and adores nature. Unfortunately she suffers from social anxiety from her last experiences, so she will often stutter and appear shy, almost never speaking of herself much either.
History: Her father was all she could ask for. She was in a great life filled with excitement for a young 8 year old till her dad walked out the door one day and never returned only to be found murdered near a dumpster. Monica then moved to an orphanage where the kids pretended she didn't exist and things went from bad to worse when she re-entered school when people started bullying her. Monica was soon found by a satyr behind the school building who took her away to Camp Half Blood.

History: Ash was born on October 31st at exactly 3 am. Before he knew he was a demi-god he went to an average school. People considered him 'goth' or 'emo'. Some even thought he was a vampire. No one wanted to be his friend because they were afraid of him. He was 6 years old when he asked his mother why. She just told him the same thing all mothers do, "Because you're special." Asher wasn't bullied, no one picked on him or hurt him. People were afraid that he would hurt them. Once his mother told him why he was 'special' he immediately was fascinated. He was a demi-god!

Personality: Cocky. Incorrigible. Arrogant. Brash. All of these words describe Roy to a 'T'. Most people would agree on that. He's the type of person that you either love or hate, there isn't much of an in between. Unless you hate to be in love with him, which happens to the women that Roy has a habit of seducing. Roy has a need to be the center of attention constantly, sometimes pulling ridiculous stunts just for the sake of doing it. He blatantly disregards rules—"Rules? Please!"—which sometimes causes him to mess up or endanger himself. He's gotten better about that as he's gotten older, but he can sometimes still resort to doing things his way.
He can be so full of himself and arrogant at times that when someone tells him he's wrong—when he's actually wrong, mind you—he'll become sullen and withdrawn for days at a time, although he eventually gets over it and his ego inflates back to normal. Another thing that tends to get him in trouble is his tendency to 'act first, think later.' Although that's only socially; he's been in the hero business long enough to know that's a stupid thing to do. Either way, no matter what he's doing, there is no filter between his brain and mouth and he often blurts the first thing that comes to his mind out.
Through all his faults however, Roy is definitely someone you want on your team. He's loyal (although not the most reliable) and cares immensely for his friends. If you can get down deep enough, he's really a caring and intelligent person. Although, he doesn't show that side to just anyone. He's got to keep up his reputation as the resident bad boy.
History: When Roy was young his mother was killed by people from the Glades, and he was left to fend for himself. He met Oliver, who took him in and helped him perfect his archery abilities. Oliver's sister Thea later became his girlfriend.

Personality: Jackie is a very tricky person, who rarely laughs and takes everything seriously. You'd think that a child of Hermes would be light and funny, but she grew up homeless, always trying to survive in the worst of times, so she'd learned to never glance at something once, then look the other way. She was always observing her surroundings, taking everything in, and making sure that she knew all four or five or however many exits there were, and the movements she would make to attack the people around her to get out. She has mild claustrophobia, and doesn't like bugs. By that, I mean she isn't scared of them, but doesn't like them. She squashes them under her fingers.
When Jackie was thirteen, she had a friend.
That friend got killed a year later, leaving Jackie alone. Jackie decided then and there to never make friends again to prevent herself from feeling that pain.
History: When Jackie was five years old, her single, poor mother kicked her out of the house, and left her on the street. To tell the truth, there wasn't much difference, because her mother was homeless, so there was barely a roof over her head, but now, Jackie had no family and no one to build memories with. As a result, she had a little trauma, and began to steal peoples money and things to be able to live. At first, she was caught easily, and taken to juvenile, but eventually, she stopped getting caught. By the time she was twelve, she was considered the unofficial "boss" of the homeless children, being the most experienced and efficient thief. When Jackie realized she now had a gang, she began to lead group thefts, and together they managed to live with better clothes and food.
The first satyr that found Jackie (who was 14 at the time) was young and inexperienced, and as a result, when Jackie's gang closed up on him, he didn't have the sense to say anything important before he was robbed, and beat up. And so, Jackie's gang moved to another part of the city, and that was that.
The second satyr that found Jackie was older and more experienced, but slow, and so Jackie's gang stole some of his things
then ran off.
The third and final satyr that found Jackie was young, and quick, and when he realized that there would be no way to take Jackie to camp half blood with reasoning and pleading, he...knocked her out. And carried her there in a bag.
When Jackie awoke, in a bag, in a strange outside area she didn't recognize, she reasonably panicked, and began attacking everyone around her. By the time she'd been relatively calmed down, she'd beat up ten campers, and given four broken bones. Seconds later, Hermes announced her his child with the sign over her head, and she was shoved the direction of the Hermes cabin.
Her hadn't been going well.
When she got there, she was quickly ignored, and she liked it that way. And so, life went on. ((Yes, yes, I know, VERY cheesy line, but I wasn't sure how to end it))

History: When he was 3, his family began to realize his signs of genius, and when he started to self teach himself the piano in the music shop next door, there was no doubt. At first, Robert (his father) thought that he could manipulate Hugo, so that he'd get paid lots of money. Robert planned on getting rich over Hugo's brains, but just months later, Hugo realized this, and threatened to hack all the porn and information about Robert and send it to Robert's boss. Eventually, Robert gave up on Hugo, and began beating him.

Training: Since his mother was in the navy he met and was trained by a couple navy S.E.A.L.s. He got what was equal to a brown belt in their martial arts; therefore hes to be dealt with cautiously when angered.

Appearance: Black hair that runs just past her shoulder blades, messy bangs, pale, angular face. Light gray eyes with flecks of green, and is of average height, though is a few pounds underweight, and therefore her clothes generally hang off her.
Personality: Extremely sarcastic and moderately sassy, likes to bend the rules and puts on smiles and charms people just to later manipulate them. She is internally pessimistic and hates small talk.
History: Nothing particularly interesting. Was expelled from two schools, and lives with her father.
Non-godly abilities: Words. It generally takes her awhile to get into people's heads, but when she does she can convince them to do pretty much anything, with a bit of persuasion. Also quite well-versed in hand-to-hand combat.
Godly abilities: Has a multicolored marble which can turn into a sword. She wears it around her neck as a necklace.
Family: Just her father, who is a tired playwright.
Other: Doesn't like using her sword for combat, but understands that it's necessary in certain circumstances. Is constantly cold and therefore always wears a sweater or jacket no matter what the weather. Plays the violin and piano. Is part French, and is fluent in French. Identifies as bisexual.
