I don't have either of these.
siriusedward wrote: "But buddy reading August would have been really good..What are you in the mood for Pragya?"
I have never read a Faulkner so I am afraid if it may be too difficult to tackle in a month? Let's leave it for your August challenge.

Blue castle would be an easy, quick read.
I can also do Travels with Charley.
I was thinking of Blue Castle too...it will also be a happy read..Travels with Charley...let me check if I can get that..We can definitely read Blue Castle though...
I think, Light in August will require frequent breathers in between the read..so..yeah better not to read then..may take a long time..

Haha. what chapter are you on? I don't want to divulge more. But I feel really sad for the kind of life she has.
And do we need to use the spoiler tag ?Is it for us both / for anyone else reading ?
If its just for us..please don't use the tag..I don't mind the spoilers..
though I will tag it, if you want. Thats not a problem for me.But I am behind you.
reached Chapter XIloved the ah.ha moment .when thew whole family is shocked.shaken out of their smug,superior,self-satisfaction.
This is so different from Anne of Green Gables..in a good way..Have you read Anne of Green Gables?
I read and loved the whole series last year...." Rilla,my Rilla" still makes me feel so..... happy.
So, I finished reading it.... loved it a lot..it does have the Montgomery touch..but it is lovely..her language. The descriptions. The tone. And loved both Barney and Valency...🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I haven't read it but I wonder if it's something to do with the author's life if the MCs are usually like this?

Haha. Yes, I loved how Vallancy decided enough was enough but I am scared of her disease. :(

Ah yes. This feels like more of an adult book while Anne was children's. I have only read Anne of Green Gables and not the follow-up ones.

Roaring Abel I like.
What will happen next"

Anne and Gilbert does change as she matures throughout the series..

I need to get back to the series. I am in the Montgomery mood now. It was fun to read this. I don't think I would have read it now if not for the challenge.
