Work place place type is not included in the list

Can someone tell me what the above message is meant to mean? I've being trying to correct some data for a book on and off for a few hours now but I'm prevented from doing so by this message which appears in a red box.

It's a bug to do with the country/place field

There is a thread in feedback about it

Try removing country /place do changes and add back
