Kelly I truly think I Don't Know How She Does It: The Life of Kate Reddy, Working Motheris one of the best books ever written. Seriously, I've never read another book that perfectly captures the weariness of parenting small children while struggling to maintain one's self. So I was so excited to read this sequel that I ordered it from the UK Amazon site rather than wait until the US version comes out. The book was funny and still pithy, but it just didn't have that magic of the first book for me. And I hated that she (view spoiler)--I would have much preferred her to have (view spoiler). Anyway, worth reading, but it just did not have the magic of the first book for me. Also I felt the timeline was off - I swear in the first book, she was 35 and had a 1 year old and and a 5 year old...now she's 49 with teenagers? The math doesn't add up.

Rhiannon Wells Yes! I am very bothered by the timeline! A pprofessional author, and a person in journalism should no better than to have such huge errors in a sequal!

Elisa Sinnett Ah helll! I know what the first book of 2019 will be! I read the sequel first! And loved it and~the ending! So I will read book one now!

Lorrea - WhatChaReadin'? Personally, I didn't like either book. I read them both last year.

Arba Stoddart Loved the book!!! So real for women out there trying got find a job and have equal pay and respect as men. Ageism is real and top it off by sexism. It's not easy. In the same time the book was funny and a great read.
