The page count for the American hardcover edition of this novel may be wrong. Amazon lists this edition as having 688 pages. The publisher's page (at https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/bo...) also says it has 688 pages. WorldCat lists it as having 661. I have only an uncorrected bound proof, so I'm no help, except to say that my proof definitely has more than the 560 pages that Goodreads claims—more like 676 if you include the acknowledgements at the end or 672 if you don't. I wonder if you can find a way to settle the question and adjust the Goodreads page count accordingly. As always, I thank you for your help.
