I think in NYC and potentially the girl had just moved there or was visiting?
Do you remember the cover?Part of a series?
Definitely not part of a series, unless it was one of those that does a ‘sequel’ based on periphery characters but don’t think it was. Limited memory of the cover I’m afraid :( i think it was pinky orange, it her on the lower left side. It was a drawn one, silhouette sort of thing I think.

This has been bugging me for weeks!! I read it between 2009 and 2015. It’s a modern chick lit where the girl goes out one night wearing a red wig (I can’t remember why). There she meets the man of her dreams (of course). They organise to go to the museum or gallery the next day. However she chickens out when she gets there because she thinks her red haired self was much cooler than reality. Then they meet years later.
Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks for your help!
