Look at any of the book pages and down by "other editions" you will see a combine link. I just combined several of this author's works but I don't know if I got yours. There was one edition that was separate but it did not have cover art. It was also missing the author's middle name (the names must be exact for them to be combined.)

rivka, Yes that is what I ended up having to do because the hardback edition that was already there had the same isbn as my paperback edition but it did not have a cover image. When i tried to create a separate edition with the same isbn and information, save it being "paperback" instead of "hardback" I received the red error messages. That is when i read in the help sections that paper and hardbacks should be combined but how does one do that if all information is identical? my isbn is 0877225737. the isbn on the info page is 0877224838, both of which are already in use. again thank you all for responding :-)

Ok, i just checked it out Rivka I see the changes i guess the cover for the first edition paperback is the same as the cover for the first edition hardcopy but how does one indicate that one has the first edition paperback with the same cover from 1987 not the second edition 1988 paperback?

I am attempting to add a first addition paper back of, "The Afrocentric Idea" by Molefi Kete Asante I physically have this book and I saw that there was already a hardback edition of this book with identical information right down to the page numbers and publication year so I gathered from the information in the help that all i had to do was add the cover of the paperback I had and then combine editions. This is were I encountered the problem. I was able to upload the photo but how do i "combine" the paperback with the hardback? On the edit page all i saw was the choice to choose either paperback, hardback, ect. How does one add the paperback to the hardback when the information is the same? Thank you in advance for any and all help
