Rachel (rachel_olivia) | 8 comments In 2018, I would like to read a minimum of 6 books. I am going to be increasing my goal as I go along through the year. My ultimate goal is 18! The reason why I have such a small goal this year is because I am a slow reader -- I like to take my time and appreciate the tale I'm reading. I find that it's not fun to speed through novels.

Status: 3/6

Books I've read this year:

Theodora Actress, Empress, Whore by Stella Duffy The Life We Bury by Allen Eskens Between Two Fires (Queen Branwen #1) by Mark Noce

Reviews:

1. Theodora Actress, Empress, Whore
2. Between Two Fires

Most likely! At the moment I'm looking at two challenges - the quarterly 'Places and Spaces' challenge, and the January Personalities Challenge. Not sure if I'll be able to make the January one, but I shall try!

Thank you!

Lisa Grønsund | 6163 comments 6 or 18 books are both decent goals, Rachel :) I'm a slow reader myself, and this year, more than ever, I'm focusing on savoring what I'm reading instead of rushing through the flipping of pages.

How's your progress coming along? What are you currently reading?
