WOW, this was the best book I've ever read

I've been recommending this book to everyone. I've read alot of books but don't remember a book that grabbed me and didn't let me go like this one. It was pretty graphic in places and a few of the abuse scenes made me squirm but it was extremely well written and the violence wasn't just for the sake of it. Memoirs are not usually my thing but I actually found myself caring about the people. It was very intense, first I was crying in despair and then in triumph. The ending left my mouth hanging open. Just a great read.
