I really like that this book is different from a lot of the other vampire books that have been floating around recently. I really like the writing style and the pov the author uses :)

I'm about halfway through, tore through a lot of it last night until I passed out and now that I'm hooked I'm hoping to finish it tonight! Sorry I got so far behind!! Life is always crazy over here and I expect it to calm down but nope lol

I love The Infernal Devices! I haven't really started The Mortal Instruments yet tho haha I've been slacking
Any last thoughts or comments to share before I close this thread? What did you think? I really liked the premise. I like that it gave the vampire world a completely different look/feel from a lot of the books coming out recently. It was a really quick read for me (even if it took some time lol) and I look forward to the next one! I have heard some really bad things about the movie though so now I am afraid to watch it after enjoying the book so much!
I like it how the vampires are viewed as fragile and valuable in that world, but the halflings are the protectors, loved that new take.I haven't gotten the guts to watch the movie, for the same reason. It appears that they tried to make it a comedy, and Im sorry this isnt a comedy
