Hi! I added my upcoming release a couple of weeks ago and was able to edit it for a few days, but now I can't. I have 2 pen names, but want both my K. Vale and Kimber Vale books under my Kimber Vale author page so I can edit my book details under a single page. I had a cover reveal, and now that the cover is available for public consumption, I want to put the full cover up on here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... Can someone please add this book to my author page so I can make changes? Thanks so much! :)

Hi,I changed the author name, and the book should appear under your Kimber Vale profile.
But you still won't be able to change the cover, only librarians can do this. Please post the cover in this group and we will do it for you.
Thanks, Melaslithos! Does an image URL work?http://kimbervale.files.wordpress.com...
If not, I'll try to figure out how to direct post a photo. Thanks again! :)

Restored books to have both K. Vale (primary) and Kimber Vale (secondary) as listed authors.
As mentioned above, this is not why you were not able to change the covers. (Which I have done.)

Hi,Just for my understanding, I tried to put the 2 author names (K. Vale and Kimber Vale), but it didn't work. I thought you couldn't have two author names that were to close? How do you do in this case to have both names?
Thank you.

The system won't allow you to directly add a second author if it's too similar to the first one. So the workaround is to add a fake temporary name (I'm partial to temptemp, but anything you are sure doesn't already have any author profile should work) to each book you want the second author on. Then merge the fake name with the desired name.

When you do it, be sure you are merging to the unclaimed profile, as you won't be able to merge to a claimed one.
