The magical land of Elysia beholds every other surreal fantasy you can ever imagine in your wildest dreams: fairies, trolls, elves, magic, and the harmony of human beings with these - with or without the lust for wealth and power. Amidst the noise of the flowing of the river, flapping of the fairies wings, hustle and bustle of the citizens looms darkness brought into existence by none other than the ruler of the kingdom. Survival is easy as long as luck favours you, without getting caught in the secrets of this enchanted kingdom. In this land where everyone and everything runs on magic, not everything is a ride on the clouds. Here lurks darkness, hatred, atrocities, secrets, deception, murder and more.
Fifteen years ago, war emerged between Elysia and its neighbour, Valia. The ruler of Elysia waged war to conquer and succeeded too, but by causing the destruction of the whole of Valia. Elysia, however, remained unharmed. This resulted in the survivors of war to form rebels to destroy Elysia - particularly the royal family. Whilst Elysia was prosperous, the inhabitants there were not extremely happy with the rule of the king either, thereby making some Elysians believe that the king was not doing a good job at making this the perfect land. And he was not.
The king, albeit his good administrative skills, was a savage monster. He would annihilate anyone who went against him, plunge and murder for his selfishness and whatnot. He felt so powerful that he killed his wife and locked up his mother in a room in the castle for the rest of her life as punishment for protesting against his plans. This left him with no one but his little daughter there. He raised her to become like him - the king of blood had to have the Princess of Blood. The Princess, on the the hand, despises her father for she likes to be a monster in her own way.
Two years ago, the rebellion conspired to attack the king during a celebration. However, they failed to do any damage during the celebration, and hence attacked the castle at night. The king made this a test for the Princess. He ordered her to destroy the rebels, and she did it, for she had one of the rarest and strongest magic, and she single handedly annihilated not only the rebels but their hideout, too. Whilst at this remains a secret from all but three people, she could possibly be one of the strongest in the world.
Meanwhile, the head of the rebel, the Prince of Valia, is gathering members while the king tries to suppress the Valian citizens. Their bad blood not only affects each other, but also the citizens of both kingdoms. Beware.... At any moment, you may be harmed.
Also, another enigmatic killer is on the prowl, randomly murdering innocent citizens as well as royals. No one knows who he is, or whose side he is on since he has murdered people on both sides.
Disaster stuck at a masquerade ball in the honour of Queen Seraphina. In the middle of the ball, a noble, Xavier Rosethorn, was stabbed and murdered instantly. A mark appeared on his right hand - evidently by magic - that had the royal insignia marked with a red cross. The dagger too had the word 'finis' engraved on it. While the rebels are suspected, investigations are still going on to find the murderer.
Will you survive?
