Personality: Marcus is a very particular man. When he has an idea for what he wants, nothing but perfection will satisfy him. This is both a blessing and a curse to the tailor because he can take his work more seriously than others might (for example, the customer) and this can lead to tension and even arguments on his part. As he is one of the better tailors around, he doesn't mind too much because his business doesn't suffer too bad. Especially resistant customers who return may even receive a higher cost for the trouble. Still, his perfectionist qualities do not make Marcus the easiest person to get along with.
History: Marcus grew up in Elysia with his parents, but when the war broke out, they fled the country to Ameryntha. The move had been tough for Marcus because he hated leaving his friends behind, but he was too young to disobey his parents. As he grew up, his parents started a new clothes business that did well enough to earn the family a living. Marcus, who was able to help with his magical abilities, so he naturally developed a talent for the work.
He returned to Elysia years later, when he was 23 to start his own business and also because he was anxious to check on the town he had fled so long ago. As expected, some of his friends had perished or relocated. Enjoying the nostalgia and the few friends that had still managed to live there, Marcus decided to stay.
Others: Totally had a crush on Lei at one point, but 1) the poor soldier was super oblivious and 2) he was far too relaxed for Marcus's particular tastes. Marcus is bisexual and also a bit of a flirt, but has to be sure about someone before he would consider pursuing them.
Unlike his friend, Luli, Marcus adores royalty. Not so much for their personalities or policies, but he enjoys making clothes for them and it is a dream of his to create a dress for the King and Princess one day.
* I don't have any special ideas for him. Maybe he could end up being forced to work for the rebels or he could just be a bystander, commenting on the craziness from the sidelines.

{Description} Hyacinthe has a heart of gold, she is formal, polite, level headed and is friendly on top of that. She is well know through the guards as sociable, receptive and good hearted. While she is quite happy she does have her bad days where she sleeps little and goes through the day quiet, even snappish or spacey. It’s on those days she spends her time in her quarters only exiting when someone comes to inform her that she’s up for duty. Hyacinthe doesn’t tend to seek help rather preferring to deal with things on her own, however she tends to be a someone people feel okay with sharing theirs with.

Hyacinthe was born to a guard and a maid, the two fell for each other after her father saved Sybil from a wild dog that had made its way into the castles courtyard where she was drying clothes. To thank him she offered sharing a meal, the two hit it off from the start. Two years after their meeting they got married and had a child. Hyacinthe grew up learning both the ways of a lady and how to defend herself, from an early start she wanted to be a guard just like her Papa. When she was old enough her parents agreed to let her train as a guard, her father now retired helped her by sparring with her every chance they could. Home visits stopped however when her mother grew very ill and soon her father followed. Her parents not wanting their only child to get sick as well forbid her to enter the house, it wasn’t long before illness took them both.
Now an adult and guard Hyacinthe has fought off her share rebels, never killing them earning her a nickname of Merciful Dusk by the rebels for her reputation of sparing them and her shadow magic. Her fellow guards disapprove of this but do not bring it up as it could get the young guard beaten or worse for suspected treason. Many of them see her as a younger sister or daughter as they knew her father, the same good heart he possessed is found in her as well.

[History:]
Arabella had a seemingly normal middle-class childhood, or so she thought. The reality of her situation was much darker. Her parents were actually working-class and in order to keep up the lifestyle they prided themselves on, they borrowed money. First from friends and then when that flow of money stopped, loan sharks.
Their debts grew and grew as they were never able to pay anything back without it tripling in size.
Due to the same pride that got them into this situation, Bella’s parents were never able to ask anyone for help, or even tell Arabella about their situation. Instead, they accrued more and more debts, until eventually it was too much for the collectors.
They took everything. All of the family’s precious belongings and eventually the house itself. It was at this time her parents were forced to come clean about their finances and Arabella was heartbroken (this was shortly after her 7th birthday).
This was where her life started to turn. After everything was sold, there still wasn’t enough money to pay everyone back and so the debt collectors came after Arabella, likely to sell as a slave of sorts. In a final plea her parents sacrificed themselves in return for their daughter’s freedom. Luckily for them, the particular rich gentleman they owed all the money to, was a man of his word. Arabella remained free, but at a cost. She had to inherit her family’s debt.
From that point on Bella has lived her life on the streets as a homeless orphan. She uses her copy magic as a professional scammer under the name of ‘Thorn’ in order to gain resources and pay back what her family owes.
Arabella has never fully been able to let go of certain luxuries and always keeps a few nice dresses and jewellery (stolen) for both her work and to keep her mind at ease.
She one day hopes to be free of her parents miss-steps and work her way up the ranks to become a wealthy land owner like she thought her parents were.
