I am a bit early but with all the sick children and the fact that I have this book on audio it was easier to read this weekend since it is a reread for me.

I am at 45%.
I can't believe how much of the small detail I actually forgot about.

I absolutely love Izzy, but feel that at this point we don't see a lot of who she really is. The way she is always there for her family and friends. Amazing.

Just a thought
(view spoiler)[ I find it funny that Valentine naming both boys Jonathan Christopher, but actually that is pretty smart. There is a phenomenon that every sibling knows: Being called by your siblings name, your father's , heck even the goldfish, that you owned and is dead since three years, name.
So by giving both boys the same name , Valentine avoided that confusion.
Which means that Valentine must have known about that phenomenon, either by hearing siblings complaining about it or he must have/had a sibling/siblings .
Or he must have spent some amount or time in a household with other children around.

(view spoiler)[ I am not sure where I read it but Valentine never named Jace, Jace read the name in one of his fathers journals and assumed his father read about him, I think Valentine catched him or something and that is way Valentine called him Jace so he don't figure out Jonathan is actually another boy. But this is true I have 3 girls and mix their names up constantly. hahahahaha
