J.M. (Joe) (jmmartin) | 11 comments So many cool people in this read-along. It's great to read about everyone and what they're reading and all that stuff.

Question: If you read certain intros that you like, do you send a friend request to the person?

Terrible Timy (queensbookasylum) | 22 comments As for me if I would do that if I was genuinly interested in that person. Meaning their views and interests in books and other things. I like GR because I found many people with similar interests as me and become good friends with some of them. It doesn't happen often with me so I take a chance if I can. The can refuse the invite in any case so you won't lose anything trying.

Sandy | 21 comments J.M. by intros - do you mean reviews? I generally accept friend requests from people with the same interests as I have based on their reviews. But I generally don't accept requests of people that have over 300 friends because I feel how can you possibly keep up with 300 people. Personally I don't have the time but might change my mind after I retire. ;-)

J.M. (Joe) (jmmartin) | 11 comments Good feedback, and that's what I meant; basically, I was asking folks what urges them to submit friend requests on Goodreads.

My assumption is when you're in a reading group like this one, it makes it a bit easier when reading the introductions. I'm curious how many people do something actionable after reading an introduction (on a thread such as this) by visiting someone's profile and submitting a friend request.

Hannah | thebookwormsfeast (thebookwormsfeast) Hi All,

A little late joining this, but it sounds fantastic! I'm Hannah from the UK. I've just downloaded Lost Lore and look forward to making a start once I've finished my current eBook :)

Current Paperback: Knight of the Seven Kingdoms by G R R Martin (if I can find where I put it!)

Current Hardback: NSTAAF Book of the Year (by my favourite podcast)

Current eBook: Persuasion by Jane Austen (I found the Penguin Classics reading list for the year and decided to give it a go!)

Audiobook: The Name of the Wind

Next Read: Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff

Console game: Monster Hunter World

Boardgame: too many to choose from, but probably Betrayal is the most played one.

Can you share where the penguin classics reading list is? sounds interesting...maybe you are interested in a buddy read?

Hannah | thebookwormsfeast (thebookwormsfeast) Hi Sandy,

I stumbled on it in the new year on Penguin's website. It's just one book per month, but it suits me as I never seem to do anything on time - this read-along being case in point haha! The link is below:

I've never done a buddy read before - what would I be agreeing to? (bearing in the mind the above point of never managing to do anything on time, although I finished Dorian Gray in Jan and only have a teeny tiny bit of Persuasion to go, so so far so good!

Just that you both or all kinda read the book in the same month and talk about it. What is next on the list?

Hannah | thebookwormsfeast (thebookwormsfeast) March:
A Room of One’s Own - Virginia Woolf

Benedict Patrick (benedictpatrick) | 34 comments Hey all - hope you are doing well. Just wanted everyone who took part in the Lost Lore Readalong to know that my next book is available for preorder right now, and it is a return to the Magpie King's forest - the same setting my Lost Lore tale took place in.

Check out the Goodreads event for the preorder/launch for more info! https://www.goodreads.com/event/show/...
