Stuff Matters: Exploring the Marvelous Materials That Shape Our Man-Made World by Mark Miodownik - 5 stars

The subject of paper is discussed in Chapter 2 under the heading of "trusted" (materials). The author discusses various paper based products we use everyday, the mechanical and chemical processes of extracting cellulose, different types of paper, and why certain types of paper turn a distinctive yellow color with age.
Nicole, it may be stuff you already know but an interesting chapter for those of us not as familiar with the paper production process.

If you do read it, I'll be interested to hear what you think of the book and the author's accuracy. :-)

Most of the "stuff" included in the book were all inspired by a single photo of the author, sitting at a table and reading a book while sipping (what I assume to be) tea. There were a few materials in the photo that weren't included, such as denim, but that is a trivial gripe.
4.5 stars rounded up to 5 and recommended to most everyone. Even if you don't care to read it for any other reason, borrow it from the library and enjoy the chapters about chocolate, paper and books.
(Noting I just noticed I have 101 highlights for this kindle book, so there must be some interesting stuff to contemplate!)
