A beta reader is basically someone who reads a book pre-publication and answers some questions from the author regarding characters, plot, and pacing of the story.

If you'd be interested in beta reading this book for me, let me know and I'll add your e-mail to my list of beta readers. I'll be sending out the first three chapters at the end of the month. :)
Synopsis:
In a world now run by vampires and werewolves, Nessie Robinson endures life as a slave in the mansion of a master vampire. Her hatred of the fangy monsters is no secret, and now, it means trouble. But how much is she willing to risk for freedom?
Charlie Matthews is one of those fangy monsters that Nessie hates so much. Lucky him. But when Nessie's life is in peril, he must gain her trust to save her life. Can he get Nessie to overlook his unfortunate circumstances and win her freedom...and possibly even her heart?
Excerpt:
They walked for what seemed like forever until finally, despite her hand clasped in his, she ran straight into his backside, stumbling all over herself. Clumsy idiot. Charlie's hand tightened around hers and, with a small jerk, she found herself in his arms as he straightened her. "Watch yourself," he muttered. His hand glided across her shoulder as he went to release her and she cried out. "Jesus, Nessie! I could smell you were bleeding, but not like this. Why didn't you tell me he mauled you?!"
She wretched herself from his arms, but he held tight to her hand. "We had more pressing matters," she stated.
"Well, I'm taking care of that before we rest for the day." She opened her mouth. "Don't argue!" he snapped before leading further into the cave. Finally, he stopped. "This is far enough. We'll rest here for the day."
She ripped her hand from his and plopped herself onto the cold ground. She heard Charlie rustling not far from her. Then she felt his hands on the collar of her sweater, his breath on her face. She shivered, her body motionless as she screamed at herself to move away.
And then she felt his tongue on her skin, gliding over her shoulder. She gasped, waiting for the bite, but it didn't come. The warmth of his mouth felt heavenly in the cold of the underground cavern, and she found herself leaning into him, craving more. She felt him shudder and then his mouth left her skin, and she almost whimpered at the loss.
