L.D. Colter (lcolt1) | 26 comments Dear Librarians - I would appreciate help with updating the covers for my novel A Borrowed Hell. The original publisher closed and the new publisher has given the 2nd edition a new cover. The initial 2nd edition cover was blurry and was replaced within a day but is the one that ended up on Goodreads. Also, the old cover is still up for ebook and print (neither are available any longer). The image address for Kindle is now https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.c...
and for paperback (possibly the same image) is https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.c...
The jacket description has changed as well, and I would love to have that updated too. If I should do that myself or if you need jpeg images rather than links for the covers, please let me know. Thanks for any help. Liz

Arenda | 26450 comments Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have.
Instead, we add an alternate-cover edition.
See http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...
and http://www.goodreads.com/help/show/85....

Since the cover was available: publication date for ASIN B078FZRX51 is December 16th 2017, the cover was imported from Amazon December 17th 2017, so that is considered published, even though it was for a small period of time, we have to follow policy.

Alternate-cover edition added here:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile.
Here are the instructions: How to set the default edition.
