I firmly believe that washing machines are in fact magical portals to another dimension where tiny little gnomes live. They wash our clothing and, as payment, take socks once in a while.They use those socks to build their homes (suspended to giant mushrooms, in case you were wondering) and, because they want each home to be unique and reflect their personality, never take matching socks.

The socks probably enter the secret sock warren (warrens are parallel dimensions that mages draw their power from in Malazan).
Since several warrens are connected to the high houses I appoint you the Queen of High House Sock!

Yes, we sacrifice a member each full moon!(the group is usually closed while we nominate books and then vote for the monthly read. If think they had problems at some point with tons of people joining just to vote for their own books)

Was it BB&B?... because now that I double checked, I think I DID get into the group, and never noticed... I never got a notification about it, and none of the discussions have appeared in my notification feed... so I assumed I never got in...

The FBC group is the first group I joined here on GR (this group being the second :p). I was really sad seeing it becoming less and less active, and then it took a huge blow when we lost our main Mod (truly the heart of the group) to cancer a few months ago :'(
I'm going to do my best to make it a warm & fun place now! :)

But I'm sure you make it a great place to be :) I think I'll join too, to see you in action 😂Last year I also became mod of the first group I joined on Goodreads and I was sooo excited :) Sadly it's only for members from Germany, because of the shipping, otherwise I would invite all of you 🙈😉 I love all the organisation and the amazing people I met there.
