I HAVE to start by talking about those texts like omg!! I think that it was extremely cute that despite the fact that these two characters are flawed in different ways, they've found common ground to communicate on and their flirting is just so cute!!! It warms my heart to see Abelard communicating so effortlessly and I love the budding romance. The idea of using quotes to communicate is actually really smart, especially for two people who have trouble communicating their actual feelings.

As I had mentioned in one of our previous discussions, Rosalind is practically the perfect best friend and it's kinda become a trope for me. I just maybe want to see a different type of friendship?? I don't know it's just gotten repetitive. However, it makes me happy that Lily has a best friend like Rosalind in her life, as she and her family understand her condition and do their best to make her feel as normal as possible. I'm still loving the story and can't wait to see what happens next!!!

Yes Ana! The love letter text conversations are SO CUTE!

I am excited for them to meet.

I feel like I'm overthinking this but Richard is an enigma for me. Does he like lily? Does he like Abelard? Or will he end up liking Rosalind when they get to know each other?

Iris for me is getting better. I think she just goes to a pretentious school but really she means well.

I loved the bit when Lily is at Rosalind's house. Her parents are brilliant! I love that the whole family aren't just understanding but they don't see Lily as any different from anyone else. I think this is extremely important.

I see what you mean Ana but for me I think Rosalind is more than the perfect best friend. She understands and sees Lily like anyone else. She isn't trying to protect her from the world. She's letting her find her own way like everyone else. I probably read less perfect best friend books because it doesn't bother me that much (although now it probably will) haha.
