Can't find my regular profile page

Hi,

I seem to have 2 profile pages on the platform. One is my author profile and the second is my regular profile, which I created before uploading my book and creating an author dashboard.

Others are able to view my regular profile but I can't seem to fin it. I am able to access only my author profile.

How do I access my regular profile?

I access mine by clicking on my picture in the upper right corner when first getting on GR, and see the listing of options. Profile is listed first just under my name, while author page is listed second. Hope this helps.

Hi Rani. After you are accepted into the Goodreads Author Program, your Goodreads profile will change in appearance to signify that you are an author on the site. You should, however, still have access to the same features you did previously as a user. Let us know if there's anything in specific you're struggling to find, we'd be happy to help out!

I was wondering because my profile description on both accounts are different . I think my profile as a reader is visible to others but I am am unable to view it. Can you please help me?

You're welcome! Other users will only see your author description when visiting your page. However, you can still edit your user information on this page.

I have a follow-up question on this topic.
The website (both desktop and mobile version) sends me to my author profile, but the Goodreads App still sends me to my user profile. Does that mean that other app users will see my user profile rather than my author profile?

My Giveaway has completed and very happy with the process. Is it possible though, to be able to email/send an e-copy of the giveaway to those people who missed out on the cut?

Not to worry! Once you've claimed your author profile, other users will only see that profile across all platforms. Your user profile is only visible to you, the account holder, on the app.

To protect member privacy, we're unable to provide email addresses to anyone.

Now I’m confused, because I am still getting friend requests on my regular profile. How can they ask to connect with me if they can’t see my user profile, but instead only my author page?

Members can send authors friend requests too directly from the author's profile. Of course it's up to the author to accept these or not. You'll see the "Add as a friend" option on an author profile if you click the small arrow to the right of the "Follow Author" button.
