Could everyone make a quick check of their reading for the month, so we have an idea where we stand and can plan for the end of Feb. - How many books will you be able to finish before the end of Feb?
- Do you have books on the CR / mini- challenge list you won't be able to finish?
Books you aren't able to finish in Feb will still count for March, so nothing is wasted, we just need to make sure we fill as many cards as possible.
For mini challenge it needs to be connected? I never did get a chance to read and understand the mini challenge this time. Hopefully this illness will be gone completely soon so that I can focus more.
For the rest of the month I’m going to try to find books that have less than two hundred pages. They are quick easy reads. The hardest part is finding books that will match more than one card. And I’ve had little to no luck finding 0 cards. Rephrasing... little to no luck finding 0 cards I’m interested in reading lol
Yes the book you read needs to be connected to one of the recommended books. Usually I've gone with cover items such as hat on both covers / animals on covers etc.

At the moment we just need enough books to finish the cards. :)

Yep, starting dates only counts for the beginning of the challenge and the minis. Whatever you don't finish this month we can use next month. ☺️
Tina / April is reading for the reverse. And the wild card isn't something we need to read for specifically, we have that one covered.
April, Makena and Fatima, could you please check in and let us know if you will be able to finish the books you have on the sheet. Thanks!
I have. I just havent had time to update on goodreads. I will mark them completed. I have finished a couple that I haven't put on there, including the first book in the womens murder club series that will count for a 1, and should be done with the 2nd which will count for a 2 by tuesday. :)
Thanks April, now I can relax, I think your Witches book was the most crucial one, the rest we can cover and re-arrange to fit, but yours would've been a scramble :)
The hands for March is up, have a look in your stacks and see what you might be able to cover. We have 6 wild draw 4 so we need to replicate all but one of the colour cards. (yikes)

I have put the ones finished (am currently completing this) on my uno shelf. I don't have time at the moment to update the spreadsheet. Are you/is someone able to do this or will it matter when it gets done?
I'll go and grab the witch book now and then you can update when you have time. :)BUT, what I really need you to do is post to the Ceres group about that book and link your post here so that we can get points for that too :)
I can do that. I JUST checked out Naked in death (Nora Roberts) Should I restart that book March 1 to count as a red card?
April wrote: "How do I link my post here?"The quick and dirty way to link it is to just click on the time stamp on you post (the one that says 1 minute ago etc, to the right of your post) then copy address and paste it here.
if you want to make it pretty you can use the html codes:
<*a href="ADDRESS">This is what will show<*/a> (remove the *)

April wrote: "I can do that. I JUST checked out Naked in death (Nora Roberts) Should I restart that book March 1 to count as a red card?"You don't need to restart it, just don't finish it before March and we're good :)
I *really* hope you'll love the book, Eve is such a fun character - even if she doesn't mean to be :)
I'm currently reading Livia Lone - I could finish it for Feb if needed. It would also work for a Pluto connection (black covers with read image and white text like Red Rising) if we need.
Teddie wrote: "For March, I could read Pines - blue cover and a 3 (char: Harold) and 5 (location: Idaho.)"Well, technically yes, but we can't count Idaho as it's set in Wayward Pines :(
Maybe there's an I character hidden somewhere?
Checking in! I'm going to finish Crazy Rich Asians today, but I haven't started Disaster Artist yet and will have to save that for March!
I have a book that's a short quick read and will fit a 1 and 2. Should i hold on to it or go ahead and read it to fill one of the cards in a couple of hours?
Yesterday i went through everyone's books on the spreadsheet and compared them to their uno shelf to make sure everything matched so we don't lose points at the end of the month. I found quite a few books that haven't been added to the uno shelf. Please check the books you've put on the spreadsheet against your uno shelf or send me a pm and I can let you know which books are missing. Thanks everyone!! And way to go on getting February hands filled!!!
Tina wrote: "I have a book that's a short quick read and will fit a 1 and 2. Should i hold on to it or go ahead and read it to fill one of the cards in a couple of hours?"I'd say hold on to it for now, I think we are ok for this month.
Quick update for Feb, we only have 3 more books that needs to be completed this month then we are all done. All hands filled and completed and the mini challenge all done.(Being Mortal - Teddie
Crazy Rich Asians - Makena
Handle With Care - Fatima)
Really great job everyone!!! :)
