Looks intriguing! But you know me and Romance....
Is it nicely character driven?

Karen, Mmmm, Don't think it would be up your alley. Very romance driven, ex servicemen finding their HEA in a small mountain town. The town itself becomes a character but it is what I call comfort romance, it's like reading the equivalent of a big warm hug. There is always a good story but if you're not primarily a romance reader it probably wouldn't work for you.

And Sass, when I reading the bit when Nevada had to kiss Rogen to break his trance when he was destroying the town all I could think was "I'll have what she's having". Swoon!

Sassafrass (sass-a-frass) | 497 comments I've never tried Virgin River. I was afraid of it being too syrupy. A lot of my GR friends have enjoyed them though. I may try to get one on overdrive from the library.

And I honestly don't think that the Gordons (Ilona Andrews) can write anything bad. I really have enjoyed everything I've read from them.

message 611: by Karen ⊰✿, Avaricious Reader (new)

Karen ⊰✿ | 3767 comments Thanks Lisa, I'll leave them for you to enjoy then :)
Sass- they are on overdrive here so hopefully you can find it too

I agree about the Gordons. Great duo! I still need to read book 8 of Kate Daniels. Maybe I'll bite the bullet with an audible credit next month

message 612: by Sassafrass (new)

Sassafrass (sass-a-frass) | 497 comments They are also on the audible romance package. I may try one soon.

I have a few going now, one can definitely cover a Skip and one can cover a 2 or they can both be used to cover Skips. Let me know, I am flexible and can change what I'm reading, just wasn't sure if I overlooked something or not. Thanks

Karen ⊰✿ | 3767 comments April Cards

There are lots of coloured cards this month and the rest we don't have anything of concern (i.e. no large numbers of 7s or Reverse's again!)

Card Frequency
0 3
1 11
2 9
3 5
4 8
5 9
6 9
7 7
8 8
9 8
Reverse 5
Wild 4
Wild Draw 4 2

Coloured Cards
What a sea of yellow! Holy cow! I have 2 that I know are yellow that I haven't used yet but I'll need to see what numbers they work for and then I'll make sure I get to them in April.

Yellow
1 Yellow
1 Yellow
5 Yellow
6 Yellow
6 Yellow
7 Yellow

Blue
3 Blue
5 Blue
6 Blue
8 Blue
9 Blue

Red
4 Red

Green
5 Green
7 Green

Plus Wild Draw 4 x 2 ; so two coloured cards will need to be duplicated
