Charley went to talk to Phillip Brinkman at his car dealership. Why did you think he was so scared to talk to her? Did you find the receptionist suspicious? How surprised were you that she didn't get a reading of guilt off of him?

Bobbie Jo (bjbspoon) | 9 comments I don't know if surprised would describe it ... more perplexed and then "aha" that would be too obvious so there is more at play :)

Suzan (suzi1811) | 42 comments I figured he was afraid she'd get him killed if he was spotted talking to her. After all if he's working with criminals and he has a PI talking to him and they find out, they're gonna think he's selling them out! I admit I was a little surprised but not too surprised as in Charley's world not everything is always as it seems!

Great catch Vicki!!!! I didn't think of that until you said it but Charley did go on and on about not pretending to text while actually taking a photo because it looked so false. I forgot all about it. Now we know who set her up. Thanks.

I agree. Nothing is ever as it seems in Charley's world. A killer is just as likely to be innocent as a nun is to be a killer.
