Yeah Emma is my favourite book by Austen. Go for it! I want to read the Princesses Bride for this spot, loved the movie!
Emma is a great book (and it would also satisfy the "movie you've already seen" prompt for multiple adaptations, including Clueless)!
I may put it in the adaptation category, I love Clueless, but I also want to read the princess bride so was thinking of putting that there

It's just as good as the movie, but also very different. Very funny and I love a lot of the jokes it makes about being an adaptation of another book.
Can anyone recommend one of these books? They all work for "meant to read in 2017," so if I can apply one to the "recommended" prompt then I only have two more to fit in somewhere.Elmet

You can use the TORNADO WEATHER for prompt no. 24: A book with a weather element in the title.
The message kept appering weird when I added the book. Any one else experience problems when answering anothers question?

When you hit "reply" it grabs a certain beginning portion of the previous message, and if that portion stops in the middle of a book link (as it did for you just now replying to Devon - I just tried it to check), the entire message gets messed up because it's an open html line without a close. It's a stupid glitch that the Goodreads site should fix.

That explains it. Never tried that before. I deleted it like 3 times. In the end put in the html code myself to stop it from doing that. (Once I realized that was the problem) Well thanks for the explanation did not make that connection myself :-)
Devon wrote: "Oh, thanks Anabell! I had Boy, Snow, Bird for my weather book but wasn't that excited about it."You're welcome :-) Sorry I can't recommend any of them but haven't read them.

I’ll start; I may be able to fit it elsewhere but in case I need back up would anyone recommend Emma by Jane Austen? I saw a lot of Pride and Prejudice in the list but I’ve read that!
(Keep it simple and read through the recs in the other thread first if you can!)
