Thanks for the update Kathryn. I'm not feeling like this works for the blue dress though since all I can see is the arm. Sorry!
Finished #113, fire, but with another book:
Burned in Broken Hearts Junction by Meg Muldoon
I liked it a lot
if you don't think it's too small, I could take:
67. Earth, as seen from Outer Space (not a globe) with

Finished #126 - Woman with hair in bun, with
by Barbara DeMarco-Barrett. I got a lot out of this book and plan on rereading it when life slows down a bit.I don't have another match right now unless this counts as a blue dress.
.I'll check back for the verdict. :)
Thanks Dee! Will add you to the list. Glad you enjoyed your book Teri. I'm going to say no. I don't really think it's a dress she's wearing.

That's fine. I think it's more of a robe, but I thought I'd check. :)

If a jack-o-lantern counts as a vegetable, I can take #90 on the list :) If so, my new task would be a hearse or hearse-looking vehicle
Finished my book for #90, vegetable on the cover:Halloween Murder (Lucy Stone #3 and #16), by Leslie Meier, finished 8/6 ★★★.5
I won't get to it for a week or two, but I can take #133, hearse-like vehicle with Éclair and Present Danger, by Laura Bradford.
For a new task ... how about a wing or wings?
Hooray! I can finally take a task. I'll take #129 - famous person - with

I have a question: 'an artist painting" does that mean a person who is painting or a painting by an artist? (I have neither, just wondering)
Jan, I started the book in January (granted I took several months break once I hit 6%). I just made it to 20% (leaving me with 600ish pages to go). It is the oldest book in my TBR list so I really need to read it to complete a few challenges.
Jan, I had to google it. It is like a telephone booth but for police. This is from Wikipedia "A police box is a public telephone kiosk or callbox for the use of members of the police, or for members of the public to contact the police. It was introduced in the United States in 1877 and was used in the United Kingdom throughout the 20th century from the early 1920s.[1] Unlike an ordinary callbox, its telephone was located behind a hinged door so it could be used from the outside, and the interior of the box was, in effect, a miniature police station for use by police officers to read and fill in reports, take meal breaks and even temporarily hold prisoners until the arrival of transport. "
The most interesting thing in your blurb was that it was introduced in the US and we didn't even know what they were. I've never seen one here.
I just asked my husband. He knew what it was and was surprised I didn't. I guess people who watch Dr. Who know what they are.
Jillian's husband saved your honor, ladies ;)
I don't even see telephone booths around anymore. There's a whole generation growing up that won't have a clue what they are, which boggles my mind :)
It made me feel old when I was reading a book to my kids and I had to explain to them what a telephone cord was.
Push button phones came into mainstream popularity as my kids were growing up. I am always way behind the curve so when their friends would come over and ask to use the phone to touch base with their moms, I would send them to the kitchen phone (the only phone) where they would stop dead and stare at the dial, having no idea how to make it work! That came up in many conversations for many, many years after that! My kitchen phone (one of two that I own now) is now pushbutton but still has a cord dangling from it! Way behind the curve. :)
