I finished! But I don't think I'm going to do it in order next year. I'm proud of myself for doing the AtY in order once. It added a layer of stress that I don't think I needed.

I do a "flexible in order" by month. I start figuring out what holds I need to put in place the month before. Then the first of the month I'll check out all the books that I have on my list for that month and read them over the three weeks. If any holds don't come through, I'll read a back up that fourth week, or a book that hadn't come in in time from previous months.
This sounds waaaay more formalized than it actually is. It's just a way to force me to spread out the fun books so I don't get burnt out reading them all early.

NEVER AGAIN. 🤣"

Ok, maybe 'never' is a strong word, but like not for a while.
