Cassinator | 4 comments So I didn't love this book. Personally, I got bored. On top of that I saw the ending coming...which kind of ruined it for me :/ I may not be a fan of murder mysteries though. Is anyone planning on seeing the movie that is coming out? It looks pretty good tbh.

Personally, I liked this book. I can see why it's a classic. But, that being said. I totally called it! But, not even from actually deduction (thought there was some theory in it) but somewhat from frustration. But, what I find more interesting in this book is that (to me at least) it's less about a murder mystery and more about "Is there ever a case where a person deserves to die?" And, that's a case that people have struggled with for a long time. And, Christie does a good job at building that case.

That being said. Some of the characters were flat and the overall answer was just relatively implausible (in my view).

So, actually, re-setting my like meter. I did like it. But, not enough to get me to want to read more of her books.

Literally couldn't agree more, liked it, but not enough to make me want to read more :/
