This was a summer-specific prompt last year, so I'll be saving it for my summer reading challenges starting sometime in May.

By May, I'll have a better idea what's coming out when this year. I'm usually so far behind in my reading that I don't pay much attention to new releases. But The Shape of Water is supposed to be out in February, so maybe that will be what I choose.

Cheryl (6of8) | 234 comments Yee-haw! I discovered that the one book I just read -- The Toad Who Loved Tea (by BCer Faizy) -- was published this year. I didn't think I would cross this one off, but I did.

Laura | 144 comments I read Red Clocks for my book club. I wrote a fairly lengthy (especially for me) review for it. I liked it all right, nowhere near as much as I'd hoped to.

For a similar non-summer prompt, earlier this year I read My Lady's Choosing: An Interactive Romance Novel, which was a lot of fun. For this summer-reading prompt, I read Witchmark, which was released earlier this week. Highly recommended!
