Question of the Week
i need to add to mine bc i found a note in my phone of baby girl names and there were 2 and they are Demaris & Epperly
If you could chose what you come back as after you die (an animal, different type of human, plant, etc) what would you pick?
Hmm. Does a unicorn count? if not, then maybe a dolphin. Or a domestic rabbit.

A tree or a stone might be peaceful but borrring. And a stone would be too long an existence.
A cat might be nice but when one considers that we get them neutered and confined to our houses, no! A street cat, maybe, but those's life's way too hard, for different reasons. A telepathic cat from Telzey Amberdone series might do it nicely:)
A tigress, maybe?
Dragon, what's not to love about being a dragon? Though, from what we hear, they often get dreadful OCD cases (hoarding).

Just sayin.
See, that's part of my problem with this question. There are other creatures I would like to be, but I'm ruling out magical creatures and I know how shitty our environment is so idk that I'd want to be an animal. Plus I rather enjoy thinking at the human level. Now, if I could come back as an extinct creature that could be cool so long as the conditions are controlled adequately to prevent ecological havoc. Heck, if I returned as an extinct creature and so do others, we could totally revive a species and maybe even make leaps in medicine and the like if those creatures are medically beneficial. Or if I returned as a dino it could be really neat scientifically to solve so many questions. Anyway if I could pick an extinct species I would go for like a Honshu wolf, Tasmanian Tiger, Saltasaurus, Dreadnoughtus, Ankylosaur, or Archaeopteryx. Idk. Something different. But I'd rather be human and more capable of fixing the mess we have made.
mine is autumn because i’m a basic white girl & sweater weather, halloween, bonfires, pumpkin spice... mmm

Spring-That's when the snow begans to melt and the flowers begin to bloom
Autumn-The leaves change colors and is a really pretty fire like colors of red and oranges and yellows and it's so pretty....plus Halloween.

Paper. Since they do have sensory response when they are in physical pain.

Winter. It reflects my personality really well. Cold and detached.

spring! i love the rain but i also want the flowers blooming and the warmness starting to sneak in :)))))
Winter. It's really chilly and the snow is covering the ground and... LOL NO, I live in the desert but its pretty chilly when its night time.

Walking after a couple of travel partners behaving very strangely (basically they were provoking locals to do unwise things). Thinking that if push comes to shove I'll just get the hell out of there.
Previous Q:
I think I'd come to like the seasons (or lack thereof) on a spaceship. Other seasons I dislike with passion.

I never had one because I never traveled. Unless you count bus rides as a travel. I had one today. Bus were not punctual and I had to wait for an hour for it to arrive. The bus was full. The drivers were not doing their job properly as they were not providing the standards of delivering tickets.

There were several students in my class there, and we had taken a train into Berlin for a couple of days.. One of the things we got to experience was going through Checkpoint Charlie, to the Soviet controlled part of the city. We were strongly instructed not to take pictures of any military installations or embassies in the area.
Of course, I'm a 15 year old snotty American brat and decided the rules did not apply to me. I had walked past the Russian Embassy, and realized it was a most beautiful, awe-inspiring piece of architecture. That I absolutely needed a picture of.
I looked around, counted my steps walking by to set the timer on my camera, and as I heard the click of the camera slung at my side as I was right in front of the building I thought, "Ha! Got it!"
About three seconds later I was surrounded by East German/Soviet police that had their AK-47 rifles trained on me. They grabbed my camera, opened it up, exposed all the film, and handed me back my empty camera. They then walked off and went about their business.
I lost a lot of really great photos I had taken previously the last couple of days, and it really took my obnoxious American kid smugness down a notch or two.

I don't remember it exactly as I was young
there was another one where my Dad and his ex was taking us to her parents and she decided to floor it when a train was coming. Scariest day ever i swear.

Closest I have is a vacation I took in its entirety. I visited my aunt in NYC for around 3 weeks (I think) back in 2011. I was 16 at the time. Anyway, it was my first solo vacation since my parents were not there and neither were either of my siblings. They dropped me off (after getting lost many times) and left me in her hands. From the first couple minutes it was straight up crazy. First, her roommate came out of the bathroom while my parents were dropping me off and she was dressed in nothing but a towel and acted totally casual about it as introductions were done, hands were shaken, etc. Then the rest of those 3 weeks spilled out. I went to a summer fencing camp and injured my hip, which caused the knee problems I still have now. It wasn't enough to stop me from fencing but it did cause a lot of pain. Anyway, I also went on a chocolate tour of NYC with my aunt (self guided and throughout the weeks) and a photography tour (this one guided) in the rain. All I remember of the photography tour was walking through a graveyard next to a church. Anyway. My aunt used to do sound on Broadway shows which meant she was not only constantly busy, but she was able to give me a full on pre-performance tour of the set of Billy Elliott (her current show), got me a great seat, and introduced me to many of the actors and actresses after the show. However, since she was often busy she basically gave me run to do as I pleased so long as I kept in contact with her and stayed safe. So I spent a full day wandering the Met, during which a sweet old man who worked there gave me a private tour for hours with a strong focus on their Egyptian section. He knew so many facts it was absolutely crazy. All I remember about it now, though, is standing in a large room with statues all around me as this old stranger walked up and just started chatting, leaving my antisocial ass feeling awkward until I realized he was a staff member there and just liked to chat.
Anyway.
I went to so many museums and shows. Ripley's Believe it or Not, Madame Tussauds ((which is dreadfully boring and sad alone. Seriously. Only go if it is with someone)), plus quite a few others. At one museum they had a cool Muppet display, then I got to watch a pre-release of Warrior in their theatre before walking blocks alone late at night to reach a subway.
Beyond the usual vacation-y things I also took a class on climbing silk (10/10 would do again). I gave myself food poisoning. Had my first experience thinking I was being stalked. Took the subway alone and got lost on said subway. Wandered the streets of NYC doing whatever my heart fancied. I got my first (and probably last) Mac laptop. I also am pretty sure some guy tried to kidnap me or something. He kept trying to strike up odd conversations and seemed a little too desperate for me to follow him to a church thing nearby (for which flyers for were scattered everywhere at Times Square, and the copy he showed me was dingy and the only one he had on him but he abandoned at the table). Just flat out gave me vibes which set alarm bells ringing, especially since he didn't really talk to anyone else after me and just kind of slunk off. He was only a few years older than me. So yeah, I may or may not have been the target of malicious intent. I also experienced Hurricane Irene while there, which we had planned for and had an epic and giggly night of board games and movies during. There was also something about a yoga ball but I can't remember where that fit into the night.
Oh! And I had my first interaction with the man who would later become my husband while I was vacationing.
Overall it was just a crazy but awesome travel story which I think back to fondly and hope to experience again.

oh boy i dont think i have one. i got lost in canada without my mom but i found her within the hour so idk
i do not have one bc i am boring !

I was hiking Barr Trail in Colorado back in August and, as I had run out of daylight and not reached Barr Camp, I attempted to string my hammock tent along the trail and sleep there until sunrise.
Well my hammock tent was a RIPOFF and the straps broke, so i tried to use it as a sleeping bag on the hard ground instead.
After like 10 minutes of that I saw headlamps, so i jumped up and asked these random dudes if they were going to Barr Camp. They weren't. They were looking for Bigfoot.
I went back to where I was bedded down and found my hammock in total SHREDS.
Bears? Coyotes? 'Squatch? I will never know, fore I booked it like Naruto the last .5 miles to Barr and slept on the ground in a tin shelter using my pack as a pillow.
Best trip of my life.

No offense to anyone who does believe in zodiac signs, btw. Purely my exhaustion and caffeine fueled thoughts on it. I do know some people take astronomical things very seriously and it can be related to personal topics like religion and culture. I mean this purely for astrological zodiac ideas, and fully understand cultural significance related to the moon or stars and all and by no means mean to offend anyone in those cases.
leo, and honestly, not sure. zodiac signs/ horoscopes generally have blanket statements that can just apply to a large group of ppl u know?? so they r not really valid persay

sagittarius! i think i fit everything that is a sag except for the fact that i'm not brutally honest all the time, and especially not to strangers

My zodiac sign is Sagittarius and I don't think it fits me well. I hate travelling. I also don't think zodiac signs are accurate because even twins will have different personalities.

Don't be sorry. You were speaking my mind.
My zodiac sign is Cancer. And it kinda fits me.
Omg! I'm adopting too!
